Still a tasty, fruit-centric grenache. Has not picked up any nuance with time in the cellar, but very easy to drink. Would serve with a first course or by itself.

This was a very flexible bottle, which matched very well with a pork course, and did OK with short rib. The rib wasn’t the best of matches as the core of fruit was muted by the sauce, and that fruit is this one’s best feature. Easy to drink, but I plan to drink my remaining bottle sooner while the raspberry element- so central when it was younger- hangs on.

Meh. 4 years since my last btl, and this hasn't improved very much. Fruit forward nose, with a touch of secondary development...maybe a bit of leather. On the palate, good acidity, and loads of peppery dark fruit. A little too jammy in its presentation. Had it with lamb, and it was not a bad wine, with which it was ok, but just didn't really do it for us.

Consumed over two days. PnP on day one. Wine is ok but not very inspiring, single dimensional and too fruit forward. Had a small glass the second day with no change so we cooked with the rest of it.
Tasted over three days. Interesting style, that tips its cap to the Old World, but also features so much fruit, delicious fruit, yet fruit none the less, which quickly puts the mind to the New World. Red fruit and berries, sweet, tangy, and tart, up front. Nice grit and grip at the mid palate. Pleasantly chewy back and finish. Slightly better integrated on the second day; it began falling apart by the third. Overall, great power, modest complexity, nicely balanced.

Raspberry Tea. A full bodied, in your face version of Raspberry tea, that is. Has some funky aromatics that will not be for everyone, but I likes. No need to rush this. A splash decant an hour in smoothed out the rough edges. Nice stuff.

Well-made wine with a deft nose of sweet red fruit and cherry blossoms, followed by a crunchy, red hard-candy palate with subtle black and blue fruit and herbs and spices. The finish is a little hot and tight, but overall, this was a nice, smooth drinker and paired well with roasted chicken. One of the more well-balanced WA wines I've had lately. Drink 2015-2020.

Decanted and drank over about 3 hours; didnt really hit its stride until the end. For the sake of comparison, had this just after a Chateau des Tours Cotes du Rhone. At first, this had something akin to an artificial grape smell on the nose, which was disconcerting. That disappeared with time leaving leaving lots of dark fruits, raspberries, hints of blueberry and some minty herbs. Neverthless, very fruit forward, especially by comparison to des Tours. On the palate this was very light, with a very vibrant acidity, and a pepper, tannic finish. I didn't like this at first, but as it opened up it grew more complex. Paired well with spiced rubbed lamb and couscous.

Red fruits and spice. Fresh. Elegant mouthfeel. Missing something mid-palate, perhaps because of the '11 vintage. Just a little too hot on the finish.

Decant X 1.5 hours, paired with Italian sausage soup.
Nicely concentrated, balanced despite lots of fruit, touch of pepper.
Wife loved it. Enjoy over the intermediate term, or just "go for it".

Shared with friends with cheese and crackers. There was a sweet, grape flavor, crisp with good acidity, and refreshing.

Fruit-forward grenache, plenty of structure and tannin. Enjoyable now, nice potential.
