Tasted in a restaurant. Reticent, but Warm and inviting nose- lots of cherry/black cherry, green bell pepper, cedar - they all come across with a cool streak. It's initially full bodied, but it falls off in the mid-palate and finish, which is very dry. The tannins are obvious and slightly rough, and it seems a little short on acid. The coolness of the fruit shine through here but not enough to make me want to order more. 88

A delicious Cabernet offering from Washington State. Everything we have come to expect from Washing Cabernet is on display here with almost textbook clarity. There are tons of bright expressive red and dark fruit flavors and aromas, but the real sensibility of this wine is the overall balance. The the 12% Merlot, and 2 % Malbec help with this balance, as do the blending from 7 vineyards. Plenty of blackberry and black currant fruit flavors are backed up with vanilla, graphite, evergreen, cola, pepper and baking spice. Well integrated alcohol, oak and acid. A nice touch of cocoa on the finish.

Definite tannins but not overbearing. Clear varietal notes. With food, ready to drink now.

judgement of sweden - wines from oregon and washington state (Operaterassen, Stockholm): very extracted, a green stemmy (not uninteresting) note, some pepper, very fruit forward although not jammy.
