  • Solid wine, but not something I'd search out. Grass notes and light tropical fruit. 87-88?

  • Tasted blind. Really disliked this wine. Green appearance. Oaky nose. Flint and citrus on the palate. Flabby. Like Sauv Blanc without the acid. (NR)

  • By the glass at the BA lounge and from a fresh bottle.
Having tried this before and really liked it ( Papies 91) we have it one more. Once again it did not disappoint with a firm core of fruit, a touch of a waxy texture, lots of depth of flavour and nice length. We could only but imagine how this wine evolves but would love to cross paths again with it in a few years, maybe in an airline lounge again... 90-91

  • By the glass at BA lounge . Brand spanking new bottle.
Having tried the over oaked 2012 Elu the night before we had to try this again for comparison. A lot better wine and much less heavy handed wine making here. Very much the Bordeaux white blend it sets out to be, good citrus notes, light grassy edge. Good amount of oak, nice acidity and in general a very solid result. Nice depth of flavour, green fruits again. 91

  • By the glass at the BA lounge. Fresh bottle.
Tropical fruits, mango, light citrus. Green fruit and Quite fatty on the palate but restrained and the oak is well in check and in the background. Quite a nice Bordeaux blend white here ( 56% semillon to 44% Sauvignon blanc) with nice depth and acidity and a pretty solid length. A very good 89-90

  • Crisp and refreshing. Has good structure and interest. Definitely pleasant to drink, and seems to be hitting its prime.

  • Highly aromatic with rich scents of lychee, pear, lemongrass, lime, white tea, oak and vanilla notes that incorporate notes of salt water taffy, fresh white fig, white flowers/elderflower, grapefruit and light honey.
The palate is round and creamy from sur-lie maturation. Flavors explode on the palate as they did on the nose; Lychee, mandarin, orange blossom and honeysuckle, white tea, pear syrup, lemongrass, vanilla, french oak and grapefruit flavors on the back end. Acidity is medium+ in this full bodied white. The vibrant finish is long and lingering. Perfect Thanksgiving wine.

Overall Exceptional, expressive and though good own its on begs for rich food!
