Drank over 2 nights. Dark purple color. Soft, ripe and a touch sweet. Easy and pleasant to drink. Other reviews noted a lack of complexity and persistence, especially mid-palate. Those observations continue to be accurate.

Showed amazing depth and power considering these "softer" varietals from a cooler, wetter vintage. That said, wonderfully balanced and really tasty! Red fruits and plums with accents of cedar and spice with just a hint of good herbaceousness. Really tasty and should continue to drink well over the next 5-7 years easy, if not longer.

Decanted. Aromas present with medium intensity; Cherry, brambly wild berries, fresh herbs of thyme and sage, with ancillary aromas of tomato leaf, camphor, toast and light hints of mocha and spice. The palate is medium-plus in body with fresh, bright M+ acidity and ripe medium tannins. flavors of cherry, blackberry, currant, herbs, chocolate and wood are moderate in intensity. The finish is medium in length and intensity. Overall a good wine but where this wine falls short is in the mid-palate density and complexity. Again a good wine but hardly worth the price point. Another example of why I left the wine club

A mixed nose of cherry and earth. Initially very rough but smoothed out to more of a cabernet franc. The franc definitely dominates, and the merlot is not high quality. Tasted with chocolate and was a good but not great compliment.

Pretty unremarkable, but easy drinking, medium to full bodied red. There's no real reason to hold these or buy any extra bottles. Drink and clear out your cellar space for different bottle.

This is a very fruit forward wine. Lots of fruit on the attack and mid palate. Not much tannins though. A bit expensive but I enjoyed the wine a good deal.

Delicious, opened up after about 30 minutes, complemented my Korean grilled pork chop. Wine is rich, long, and fullfilling.

Great blend smoothed out by the the Merlot fruit, but was great after a 2013 Blackberry Paramour, both of course with great Cab Franc fruit

drank with jordy & lance at dinner party. Loads of licorice, not well balanced for a right bank expression...

Palate didn't have much to carry along. Very light with only some mild tannins to talk about
