Pop and pour, drank over 2 days. Decent chardonnay from Burgundy, but tasted a bit overly acidic and tart. Too much for my tasting. Good QPR though. Nice break from drinking California style chardonnays for me.

Nice mineral crisp nose. Palate not nearly as good as the nose. Well rounded palate, lots of citrus, but a bit astringent. Maybe a little dank. Generally fine but a bit harsh?

Pale yellow/straw in color with apple and something deeper (earthy is the closest term I can find) on the nose. Very pleasant. Apple and citrus on the palate, bright! Buttery at the end, but it was minimal and just the right amount to compliment the citrus at the start.

The 2013 Louis Jadot Macon-Village is an unoaked chardonnay with 12 1/2% abv. It showed a clear, medium, straw-yellow in color and an aroma of grapefruit with a hint of apple.
The wine is dry with the right amount of acidity to balance the tangy citrus/apple fruit flavor. The flavor lingers for about 30 to 40 seconds although some acidity remains on the palate after that time.
All in all, this refreshing wine shows a good balance of acid and fruit.

Next day (I was drinking red when this was opened) - decent nose, balanced palate with restrained fruit and nice nutty, oaky character. OK with no faults to me at this price.

Citrus nose, mouth feel is richer than I expected, so maybe some malo? Attack is citrusy. On the mid palate some green apple flavors and minerals kick in with the citrus. Nice zippy finish.

Very good for a supermarket wine. This year it shows more creamy malo lactic characteristics with some Burgundian sea shell accents. Some sugar shows on the mid palate. Medium plus acid and body, good lingering finish.

For those that do not like oaky or buttery chards this is a great choice.

Citrus pith on the nose, served chilled, lite and refreshing, like cool water with something in it.

Nice wine. Citrus on nose and palate. For the price a nice wine, but not worth allot of notes.
