Good kit. Easy going and interestingly for me Meunière dominant. Loads of lemon early before a more traditional bready finish. A bubbly for still wine fans.

Abundant mousse followed by thin and persistent bubbling. Quite straightforward and precise at the same time with crispy lemon, yeast and salty note, very dry due to zero dosage. Would look too simple and even rustic as aperitif but turned out really good with sushi (as mentioned on Apollonis site).

Delightful! Chalky, perfumed with apricot, yeast, pear, nectarine and a lot of other goodness. Also the yeast note comes in the form of brioche. This has a balanced medium body with medium + acidity and really long finish and delicate mousse. Very beautiful salinity on the palate that brings it to another level. A true delight

Opened by Vino me. Deep straw yellow color. Apple, biscuit, almond and subtle marshmallow aromas. Persistent fine bead with flavors of caramel apple, toasted nuts and earthy clay and mineral.

70% Meunier and 30% Chardonnay from the 2008 and 2009 vintages. Disgorged 8/13. 100% estate grown fruit from the village of Festigny which is West of Epernay in the Marne Valley. Aged for four years on the lees. Lower bead. Pale yellow color. Salty and minerally with notes of citrus and broth. Dry and slightly sour finish which held the score down for me. The others trying this wine liked it much better. I have 1 more bottle which I hope shows better. 87 points.

Although it's dry, it's not austere and I wouldn't know it's zero dosage if not advertised as such. Crisp, but with good fruit. Very good now, and should soften around the edges with a year or two of age, but not one to lay down for a decade IMO. Going to drink the next bottle with fresh dungeness crab.
