I quote my friend David Cooper: "clear light red with clear edges. Medium intense, orange pekoe tea, red flowers, red cherry and warm spices. Delicious tea infused red cherry fruit flavours and a nice dry finish with just a hint of acid prominent". That said, drank more like a 1er Cru than Grand Cru.

Dark red with a thin brick edge. Nose of dark cherry, black currant and licorice. No rough edges as the wine delivers flavours of fruit, and herbs. A terrific bottle tonight.

Compared to 1st bottle.... more savory cured meat flavors, more vibrant mature fruit, more focused earthy aromas. Enjoyed it, but would not search it out.

Drank this with Big-Eye tuna seared very rare on a cast iron skillet, seasoned with black pepper and coarse sea salt. Slightly earthy, dark fruited nose. Delicious, vibrant, focused fruit with appropriate acid when tasted. Paired well with rare tuna, tho I'm not likely to search for more.

Red and bright. A nose of cherries, somewhat tart and herbaceous. The fruit is still pure, and bright and long and silky. Compared to the 2004 this is tighter on the nose and palate and has more acidity. I suggest this has a big and long future.

Solid red colour, pale at the edge. Piney nose, bright dark fruit -cherries, whiff of butterscotch and a little alcohol. Very young and silky with good balancing acidity. Not focused flavours. Good, let's try again in a year or two.

Compelling nose red fruit, animal and forest. Medium body, good concentration of fruit, balsamic, tangy and long. This was a crowd favourite.
