A wonderful Chardonnay from an excellent vineyard. Fully integrated flavors. The oak was moderate and allowed the mature fruit flavors to dominate. Elegant, and at 12 years, time to enjoy. A food wine especially with fish or chicken with a simple white/butter sauce of some sort.

Impressive, well balanced CA Chardonnay. Just a hint of oak, good acidity/ freshness. Lingering finish. Thankfully, getting away from that heavy, overdone CA style.

Aromas of hazelnut, lemon pie, shortbread and hint of tropical fruit. Flavors of lemon meringue, guava, pine nut and banana. Ends with a 25+ second finish. A nice rendition of their chard.

Big but balanced, with ripe pear, blood orange and cream, finishing with peach pit. I'd like to see the power tamed a little though. It isn't clumsy or rough, but neither is it elegant or fine. Still, a big balanced mouthful of wine has its place, and this occupies that space ably.

Drinking great 30 minutes in. Fruit-forward without being overripe or heavy, framed by vanilla oakiness, which makes for a good counterpoint while not being heavy-handed. At its peak, depending on your preference. 92+

One thing that stood out to me is the pale almost cloudy color to the wine. Made from old vines (1975 planting) according to WS. crème brûlée on the nose, very unique... Overall just a great drinking Chard. Highly recommend it.

Pale straw color. Light nose of honeysuckle and lemon zest. Honey, pineapple and lemon curd across a balanced finish. Nice length and acidity, with light oak on the finish. Drinking great now, but will stretch out nicely for 4-5 more years.

Yellow color, bright floral nose, orchard fruit with Medium finish that is not overly oaked. Paired well with charcuterie and cheese plate.

Good, but definitely not my favorite of their chards. Not as rich or interesting.

Not as heavy or flavors of tropical fruits as some of their chards. White flower, good acidity. Medium bodied.

Apple and pear. Probably a good Chard for those who like this newer style. Not my preference, I want oak and butter.

One of my favorites. Very well balance. Elegant and Burgundian. Some citrus and pineapples. Long complex finish. As good as it gets in California.
