Three years on from our last bottle, this is soft and sweet with lovely dark fruit. An attractive touch of cedar. Good balance and soft tannins, still. Opened 3 hours early. Complex, subtle and a joy to drink. I wish we had more. 90+

Good fruit and spice on the nose. Quite a deep colour. The palate showed blackberry/blackcurrant fruit with rich tannins, decent balance and good length. It went very well with roast beef and was even better later having been opened 3h+. It still has life and I have extended the suggested drinking range by a conservative 2 years. It will probably improve for longer. 89+

BYO with friends - Bordeaux-inspired (Mangiamo, Village Hotel Albert Court): Deep ruby, with some edge fading. Powerful and complex nose, with ripe strawberry and cassis aromas, as well as cinnamon spices, olives, and cigar smoke. Still a lot of tannins, but balanced with a lot of ripe cassis and strawberry flavours, and clove spices. Upfront, and a nice balance

Nicely rounded (for the price range) - but this is with the caveat that it was matched with a curry which inevitably will have dulled any rough edges. Unsurprisingly, this is not going to compete with the best from Bordeaux, but it's certainly better than anything from that region with a similar price tag.
It benefited with air from decanting. Could well be better tomorrow. It will be able to age happily for a few years yet; and I've got a couple more so can report back.

Dark maroon colour, no visible signs of ageing. The nose shows deep brambly fruit, along with mint, ginger and hints of grassy meadows. The palate is big, full and prominent berry fruits. Good length. A pleasurable bottle. Plenty of life in it.

I liked this bottle better than my first. Fruit was present albeit subtle. Has good body and structure with tannins thy give it a richness. This bottle was a pleasant surprise.

Poured a deep dark red color wine with nice level of tannin. Loads of character with some dark cherry notes and some residual sugar notes. Greta bargain for a good quality wine to accompany steak.

Opened 8h before tasting, in view of its youth. Blackcurrant nose. Good, sweet blackcurrant fruit and decent balance. The wine was not too complicated but handled beef en croute very well.

Just ok for me. Gets a it better after opening. Drank over two days. Short finish with a subtle raisin or dark cherry presence. 5 bottles to go.

Dark red, dark fruit, good lone finish - a good match to the Korean beef BBQ and sauteed cabbage and onions.

Cassis, menthol et fumée.
Assez générique mais bien fait dans l`ensemble pour le prix.

Good QPR. Pretty bold for price point. Dry. Tannic. Long finish. Needs food.
