Fascinating nose of papaya and rubber. Very floral. Tastes German with its moderate sweetness. Soft and easy going; doesn't taste like a typical "cool climate" Riesling with bracing acidity. A wine with distinctive character, substantial complexity, and decent power.

Tasmania Unbottled: Lime, mango and florals. Touched lightly by residual sugar, it has good flavour but for me it needs a little more precision to be really good.

Off dry. Lime, lemon, bath salts. Toward the finish something that reminds me of biting in to a lead sinker to attach it to a fishing line, and something else that reminds me of biting down on stainless steel cutlery. A bit arms and legs. Balance between residual sugar and acid not quite right. That said, very glugable and a good drink. Undeniably complex, maybe will come together in time?

Stood up wonderfully against Wines from Alsace and the Rhine, kerosene on the nose, rich color and layered, balanced wine. Well done.

Rich citrus nose; palate has slight sweetness, not really working for me

Gently sweet lime flavours with a streak of acidity which gives the wine a thirst quenching quality. Polished off rather quickly.
