Popped (unscrewed) and poured. Initially all bright acidity, but after 15 min in the glass, nice fruit on the nose and more balanced on the palate. Quite nice

A great tasting, full bodied, amazing legs wine. It opened and drank well but the second glass was even better as the wine continued to open up and the flavors began to burst.

Decanted 2 hours. Room temperature. FABULOUS. As good a GSM as I have had. Full palate from front to back. Almost a sweet fruit in the finish. Sad I only have 4 more bottles!

This dark red nearly opaque wine has a pleasant damp forest nose and a juicy up front palate reminiscent of pomegranate, red currant, and plum with spices anise and clove appearing later. The body is relatively light and the finish is medium length. A very enjoyable wine.

2nd bottle 2 weeks later and there was a lot of Brett... too much to get to the fruit and spice of this wine. Was 2+ hours later until enough blew off to get to the wine. Didn't notice the Brett with the 1st bottle. Definitely here with the 2nd bottle.

Agree with @screameagle. A lot for the money here. Wish that I would have purchased more. Well worth the Last Bottle price. Needs about 10 to 15 minutes to blow off some of the initial funk smell/taste. Then, very tasty!

this is ok and quaffable, but there's nothing inspiring, especially at $22. there's plenty of fruit (twizzlers, earthy raspberry, cherry), but there's a dusty attic component that his off-putting.
what really stood out to me is the imbalance right now. acid and alcohol are not integrated at all. unfortunately, i don't think this will ever fully come together.
it's ok with food and ok by itself, but again i'm not dying to drink more. if scoring, 84-86. drink over the next two years.

Couldn’t resist and PnP’d a bottle day of receipt. Really intriiguing wine with the (to me) unusual Rhone grape Counoise. Very bright fruits with quite a bit of tannic grip to hold the blackberries raspberries and blueberries. Will be very interesting to follow this over the course of a few years - at least.
Hold for now

Wonderful wine. Still a one hour decant improves this wine.

Wonderful wine. Great example of a GSM, surprisingly 28% counoise. Lovely wine. Real deal at $24. I highly recommend.

This wine is just yummy. It was surprisingly good and rich given the amount of grenache and counoise in it.

Not a complex wine but one that is very very tasty and ready to drink so why wait. An incredible Last Bottle selection that I wish I bought more of.

Lots of wine for the money. I can see why the reviews have been so good. Really well rounded, full-bodied but not over the top.

Fabulous wine. Another Neil Collins product of perfection. Great deal at $22 on Wine Access. Could go another 2-3 years. Tasting great now.
