Not very aromatically expressive. Waxy, medium weight, moderate + acidity, with a consistent lime-lime zest-lime sorbet flavor. This is another village bottle that has held up better than the more oxidized Rollin premier crus from 2012, but this bottle doesn't have the energy of some of the others that we have had. It is a savory and appealing wine in spite of its flat-footedness.

Honey, menthol, green apple, melon. Medium weight. Slightly dilute in the middle, and still showing some reductive bitterness in the aftertaste, but overall an elegant, delicious white, fully drinkable now but likely to last another few years. In my experience, this village wine is better than the Rollin premier crus.

This is a mellow, autumnal wine, with an understated presence, flavors of apple cider and quince, an increasingly unintegrated acidity, and a small degree of oxidation. Drink soon.

Hints of lime and pineapple, an undercurrent of salinity, lots of green-apple acidity. Crisp and delineated. No oxidation. Less advanced than the "Cloux" bottling from the same vintage. Drinkable now but should keep.

6/6. Pale/medium straw. Striking, intense nose, spicy with underlying creaminess, citrus. Medium bodied, nice balance between creamy richness and underlying freshness, touch of stony mineral, vibrant acidity, good length finish. Excellent for the level.

Last bottle. I should by cases of this. Kuummies' note hits this for me. Creamy and nutty nose. Obvious but elegeant well integrated oak. Citrus and, as kuummies describes- "a Dijon mustard-like pungent edge." Great acidity and poise. I love this stuff.

Definitely punching above its weight: For a village wine, from a semi-fancy village, this is a complex and delicious bottle -- medium-bodied, moderate acidity, fully ready to drink, with flavors of pear and hazelnuts, and tropical notes (coconut) that emerge with air and warming. It was excellent with food and excellent without. Good now, but will last.

4/6, under DIAM. Nose shows apple, touch of lemon, fresh, some spice but quite youthful still. Medium bodied, apples, citrus, vibrant acidity, touch of creamy breadth, hint of stony mineral, good length finish. Just delicious and great vfm.

3/6, good cork. Pale/medium lemon. Fresh citrus based nose, some grapefruit here too. Spice, vanilla. Medium bodied, attractive weight, lemon, spice, vanilla - touch of grapefruit again, vibrant acidity, good length finish showing a hint of sesame seed.

2/6, good cork. Pale/medium straw. Nose shows lemon, spice, touch of sesame and cream. Medium bodied, spice, lemon, mineral, touch of sesame, apple, some creamy breadth but also lovely vibrant acids which carry a medium/good length finish with a touch of mineral. This is so drinkable!

1/6, good cork. Pale straw, green tints. Nose shows white flowers, touch of vanilla and sesame, but well integrated with a note of smoke also showing. Medium bodied, with lemony/appley fruit but also some creamy breadth, this has attractive vibrant acids and some minerality on the good length finish. Whilst it’s not the deepest or longest it is extremely well balanced and attractive and represents great vfm.

Popped and poured into large Burgundy bowls. On the nose smoky, creamy and nutty with obvious yet well-handled oak, lemon oil and a Dijon mustard-like pungent edge. After some time in the glass one finds a highly intriguing hint of spearmint as well. The nose is all class, nothing is out of place and it is in no way over-done. On the palate quite full and viscous yet with really good acidity and plenty of poise. Far from fat, flabby or timid, this is a confident, well-composed wine with a great tension and overall a very firm mouthfeel and it is marked by a Chablis-esque savoriness. The finish is a little spicy and mouth-wateringly tangy and frankly weirdly refreshing considering the genre. Just superb with a chanterelle risotto and a fantastic value in general, not only because its origins.

Straw yellow colour. On opening, rich pear, some white flowers. Over time, a few slightly exotic fruit notes emerged. On palate, medium body, quite rich but just enough freshness to keep it together. Rather sweet finish. Enjoyable but misses a little sharpness and definition.

Bright yellow. Explosive candied citrus aromatics carry through to the palate and balance the medium weight, terrific acidity, and mineral finish. I don't recall Rollin whites showing this much bright fruit. Delicious and gets the juices going.

A nice play between strong bitterness at the beginning and end and sweet white fruit. Nice weight. I found this an interesting bottle tonight.

Liked this more the second time around. Doesn't get any better at the village level without going way up in price.

This is nice. More white fruit and fuller than the '11 and still a good deal of acidity. But seems less focused. Ultimately I prefer the '11.
