Medium dark ruby color. Alluring nose of red raspberries, sandalwood, cinnamon-sugar, and herbaceous green notes. The palate has juicy berry flavors upfront, is underpinned by stony terroir in the midpalate, and finishes long with pert acidity. To pick a nit, there is a slightly tart residual aftertaste. In general, though, this is strikes an excellent balance between the voluptuous new world Pinot Noir style and the more classical structure and minerality of Burgundy. At $30/bottle, I'll be revisiting this one frequently. It is cellar-worthy, and I would be keen to taste this again on its tenth birthday.

Dark ruby in color, this wine has linear notes of red fruits including cranberry and raspberry as well as rhubarb and distinctive earthy, loamy notes on the nose. The mouth feel is medium bodied with more Asian spice undertones. The finish is a little short with the fruit, earthy tone and acidity coming together nicely but not lingering. 13.5% abv.
Purchased for $25US, this wine has some pleasant characteristics but is not the best qpr at the price I paid for it.

Beautiful pinot all around. Spiced cherry jumping out of the glass. Medium finish full of plush dark berries with a hint of sweet clove. Great structure and length. Need to find more. Boedecker is easily becoming one of my favorite Pinot producers.

Layers of flavor, with bright red fruit--raspberry, ripe red cherry--followed by a pleasant earthiness and hints of minerality. Assertive but not dominating. Quite nice and would be great with food.

Pretty consistent with prior notes. Big and bold with strong red fruit flavors. Would have gone well with steak.

Elegant and fruity, with lots of berries and cherries, earthy and lightly smoky. Not the most complex or long, but very nice.

Bright and racy. Black cherry and blackberry fruit. Not a deep wine, but very pleasant and drinking young.

Similar to prior notes, but it’s a bit more balanced with the earth coming a bit more tonhe fore. Really nice. Just barely edges out Stewart.
