Rich and so tasty. Fun, lovely combo of Grenache and zin, with a bunch of petite for depth and punch. Tannins are completely integrated at this point. Great acid and still impressively good fruit. Soft, long finish, nice hints of pepper. Some subtle hints of dust and leather too. Lovely wine. Great with and without food.

Juicy red fruit (maybe a hint of purple), nice black & white pepper, hints of tea or tobacco, maybe cassis? Perfect tannins. Medium body, lovely with sausage & basil pizza but also just nice easy drinking. Got more complex & peppery with air over the course of an hour or two.

Big and fruity but complex with a nice long finish. Dark fruit, toast, and vanilla on the nose. Dark fruits, tobacco, earthy, and herbal notes on the palate.

This is just a killer wine. Neil Collins is a tremendous blender of wine. The Grenache gives the fruit, the Zinfandel the body, the Petit the silkiness. It does not get much better than this. Drink any time. I cannot imagine it getting even better.

This is just crazy good wine! What a blend--Grenache, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. Neil just nails this blend. I will definitely buy more of this to cellar. So many people who tasted this over a long Memorial day weekend felt this was the wine of the weekend. (and we did not drink lousy wine!)

This is wonderful bottle. You definitely taste the grenache component which is just delicious. The addition of Zinfandel and Petit Sirah really fill this wine out. Spectacular wine.

Been almost a year since my last note. This bottle was much more fruit forward with the Petit Sirah component, while a smaller percentage, taking some of the dark fruit lead. Still very plush and masks it's 15.5% alcohol well. Enjoyed with gnocchi and red sauce.

Jackie, Judy, Mark, Bob and Lynne. This bottle opened up with a beautiful aromatic rich fruity fragrance. The first taste as big and as it opened it got better. This was impressive. And the whole group agreed.

This wine is blended to be Grenache dominant and definitely the palate shows it. Real up front Grenache character. Lovely wine. The Zin and PV really add some body. Ready to drink but a 1-2 hour decant was helpful. I would say this wine will reward for several more years.

an amalgamation of mixed black fruit compote and heat on the nose. Very aggressive. A little gloppy on the tongue, but completely immersed with dense fruit. Very little heat on the tongue. Cleans up rather nicely, with a good dose of drying tannin on the finish.

I only had a small taste, but found it to be quite enjoyable. One friend called it the best of the night. Looking forward to the remaining bottle. I'd recommend it.

This is a big and modern in your face Paso blend. And I love it for it. Don't expect anything else and if you are looking for a big red wine- the alc. is there but not to distracting IMHO.

Interesting blend. Blue/black fruit on the nose, with a touch of veggie. Smooth on the palate, albeit a tad thin. That same dark fruit profile dominates, although I can definitely taste some bright Grenache on the finish.

PnP, had with Mediterranean Filet Mignon kebob dinner. Zin, PS, and Grenache mix, and to me the bright red Grenache dominated the blend. Big lush, and hedonistic, modern styled this paired nicely with the Filet. Did not notice the high alc noted by other reviewers. I think this wine did everything it set out to do. If you are a fan of the style, you will like this wine alot. I am a fan of the style. 1 bottle left, wish I had bought more

Sadly, this is sort of what I expect from Paso Robles. Big fruit, a little too much sweetness, and a bunch of alcohol. The label says 15.5% and it's every bit of that. I have no problem with big wines, but this lacks balance.
Earthy nose that reminds me of a Rhone red. Dark fruit of zin to start which then lends spiciness to the slightly tannic mid-palate of Petit Sirah and finishing with the bright acidity of Grenache. Great blend that reveals the aspects of all three varietals.

Nice Grenache-zin-petite Sirah blend. Juicy fruits, but not overly sweet. Smooth. Has a few years left at this great tasting arc. Recommend

So sorry this is my last bottle. What a crazy blend, but typical of Neil Collins, he is a master blender. This is a really delicious wine.

Fabulous blend of Rhone grapes with a dash of Zin and Petite Sirah. Wonderful wine from Neil Collins, maybe the best blender in Paso Robles.

Hard to score... similar notes a big Paso red blend- Grenache, Zin and PS. Tastes like a cherry jolly ranch at times.
