Showing nice development (tobacco, tea, chocolate-covered cranberries, plums, herbs, earth) but without losing its vibrance or pleasant acidity. Medium-light body, good structure with light grippy tannin. Medium finish of sour plums. Very yummy.

mature and beautiful CF with developing aromas of dried tobacco, forest floor, tapenade, plums and blackberries. Acids still alive on mid palate and great freshness still on the finish !

Lighter bodied than I expected but pleasant. Can't complain at this price point (these Guions are a true steal), but hope it puts on a bit of weight over the next couple of years.

very light color, minimal extraction. aromatically very pretty wine with lots of red fruit, cab franc spice, brett... no new oak. on the palate the wine has high acidity, low midpalate weight, moderate amount of firm, underripe tannins, low alcohol. wine is a bit firm balance wise, ok length, good aromatic intensity, ok complexity. wine has good finesse, a fresh and firm texture, good expression of place. the 012's are light wines to be sure... this is a pretty one that lacks some depth. drink now or in the next couple years.

Very consistent experience with previous bottles. Red bright fruit, cranberry and cherry, earthy, herbal, mineral finish. Quite high acid and sourness demands food. Ready now, but may hold.

Compared to the 2011, this is much more red-fruited and less earthy, with much softer tannin. Tart cranberry, red cherry; medium-high acid, medium soft tannin; finish of sour cherry. As always, an excellent value, and likely to benefit from a few years of cellaring.

Sour. Cherries and cranberries. Rich, with zesty red-fruited acidity. Yum.

Cranberry, earth, mineral; grippy tannin, zippy acid. Some herbal and green notes, but a bit less than 2011. Good.
