Amazing for a 10 year old bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Maybe not as layered a taste profile as in the past and perhaps a bit less acidity but the smoother subtler taste and mouth feel was enjoyed by all. To my surprise it tasted better from the bottle after a couple of hours. Don't wait much longer - if you have it drink up soon

Really nice on day 2, surprising how well it's doing, better than day 1, more mellow, extremely well balanced with similar flavors to day 1 with more creaminess.
Really nice Sauvignon Blanc, fairly extracted, passion fruits, lemon, grapefruit, lichee, sweet citrus, it has a high alcohol but hides it very well. This is very good and although a little pricey for an SB, it's worth it.

I cannot believe I'm giving a 93 point rating to a Sauv Blanc. But the complexity on this wine is fantastic. Clear glass bottle to show its golden coloring. The wine was poured into glass with a little bit of froth. Examination reveals some effervescence in the glass. The nose was all lemongrass. On the front, this wine has mild effervescence, hints of lime and honeysuckle with a mild sweetness. But, this wine had a depth to it that I can only describe as a hint of volcanic rock terroir trying to come through (never had a mountainside SB from volcanic rock terroir). Turned tart in the mid-palate where a grapefruit note showed up. Finished with a note reminiscent of that sauce that canned peaches came in (dang I loved that more than the peaches usually!) and a minerality on the finish. I think that peachy "stone fruit" was coming out on the finish similar to a red from volcanic soil.....just doing it in a different way! I can say I've never experienced a sauv blanc from grapes grown at an elevation quite as high as Kamen. Was a huge delight tonight. Other two bottles will likely be opened too early, as I actually feel that this wine will last from now to 2020.

One of my favorite Sauv Blancs. Fermented in concrete egg. Medium plus body, great acidity and minerality. Picked up guava, pineapple, grapefruit and touch of citrus. Very well made.

Not as good as previous bottles, but still damn good. Lychee, citrus, grapefruit, creamy palate, nice acidity and overall balance.

Beautiful example of US sauvignon blanc. At this price point, I still prefer the Merry Edwards, but this is a nice runner up.

I echo previous tasting. These 3 surely did go fast! Quite complex for a medium bodied SB. Probably one to enjoy in the next 2-3 yrs though.

Excellent alone or with food. Medium acidity that went perfectly with the spicy stir fry.

Private Tasting @ the Vineyard
Light green-yellow, clean, clear
Peaches, kiwi, guava-very tropical in its makeup. Wet stone+honeysuckle
Great acidity, long lasting.
Thoroughly enjoyed the private tasting at the vineyard including the ATV tour of the grounds. Thanks Kaetlyn
