Color: Dark ruby hues. Nose: Slight berries and roasted coffee. Flavor: Blackberry jam. Vanilla. Cocoa, coffee, smoke. A whole lot going on in each taste, melding together into a very creamy, smooth, and lingering finish. Medium bodied.
This bottle was abnormally difficult to describe regarding the flavor. Really impressive collage of flavors going on.
By the second night the flavors had begun to drop rather drastically. Overall, the taste became muted or watered down. Highly recommended to appreciate the bottle in its entirety when you open it.

This is a large scaled, modern juicy Corbieres. Fruit is in front at first, but grippy tannins emerge with air. Full bodied & rich. Layers of dark fruit & some savory elements coat the palate.
Not high on finesse or nuance, but delicious pure clean fruit & well structured. Qpr champ & good with some grilled meat.

No Rating at this time. There was something consistently on the initial entry to my mouth that I did not like. Almost a specific sweetness that I couldn't place but did not belong in wine? I have never tasted it before in a wine and while it converted to much better and expected tastes in the mouth I consistently got the unwanted start to each new sip. Did not change on day 2. I may have gotten an "off" bottle and I have another so I will reserve a score until then but while this was not a bad wine in many ways, I did not enjoy it.

Languedoc (SF Wine Trading Company): Medium red center, lighter edge. Pungent herbs and red fruit. Nice supple feel, clean fruit that is not overly ripe, some tar underneath and moderate tannins. Good for short term drinking.

Nice ripe and juicy fruit, good acidity, some vanilla creaminess, and a liitle earth. Very drinkable.
