Mid golden colour. Subdued Chardonnay fruit. Big round mouthfeel, soft and full. Dry finish. Long finish with a nice creamy feel. More texture than flavour but not bad.

Medium dense colour. The nose shows a hint of Chardonnay fruit but not dominating with the oak a little more prominent. A little light bodied on the front palate with a broader mid-palate but finishing a little empty. Easy drinking but not a complex wine.

What would you have with this chablis premier cru chardonnay from 2012 by lachablisienne? We had pan fried cod with thyme and butter and green peas . 12 months aging sur lies. Beautiful color. Floral nose. Round mouth. Good minerality. Excellent choice for dinner. Good price quality ration.

Medium golden. Balanced, with of course good acidity, but also rather round and with a surprising touch of creaminess -- considerably moreso than we expected from the notes below. Very enjoyable over four nights, and a great value while it lasted recently at K & L for $20 -- alas it is gone.

Delicate, simple and dilute, not bad just not enough. Saw this one the previous year and although it is still sound it has not improved or complexed with a year more in the bottle. At $27 there are far more interesting value Chablis.

Light straw yellow, delicate floral, citrus character. Good acid balance and some skin tannin in the mouth with a decent finish and linger. Another low key Chablis that is okay but not great. 12.5% alc. and $27. Did not buy, better wines available at this price or less.

Agree with Deux Chaveux comment re roundness or fullness in mouthfeel that takes it beyond the mere clean citrus descriptions. Very nice.

Lemon and mineral reduction on the nose. The Côte de Léchet is a wine of great purity but only moderate concentration.

Smokey reduction and bright lemon on the nose prelude a wine of great purity. This is already drinking quite well.

At the winery: 20% 1 yr. old wood. A bit dilute, not impressed.
