no detail notes - I think drinking window can be 10 years from vintage at minimum. Last bottle was end of 2018 and it needed lots of air time. This bottle drinks well after 30 mins or so.

A little more robust then I typically gravitate to with Oregon Pinot but definitely delicious. Dusty darker cherry cola on the palate. I don’t see any need to cellar any longer, go ahead and enjoy!

Mid ruby. Very aromatic. This is like an archetype for Oregon Pinot. Yummy and bold. Not subtle but it suits the cheeses and salami it was paired with.

Perfect expression of what pure Pinot Noir from Oregon can be. Light with fresh red berry flavors. Nicely balanced. Showing very nicely right now. Should hold for 2-3 more years at least.

Fairly dark, ruby/garnet colour. Saturated cherry fruit with a bit of a cassis note. Ripe fruit on the palate with a balanced, warming toasty, finish. 14.5% 3.5/5

Nose has something earthy but clean. Lightly floral as well. Wet cedar. Palate gives me cherry, rasberry, bits of spice. Tasty. Approachable and well structured.

Nose and initial flavors of black cherries, strawberries, wood, and spice. Adequate acidity but a lighter wine than many Oregon Pinot Noirs. I don't think I would buy this again but good to have tried it.

tart cherries, floral. Drinking well now; not sure it will improve with more aging. Tannins are there but not prominent. Medium high acidity. Pretty nicely balanced.

From memory. This had a little reductive funk that improved with decanting. Solid Pinot with good body. Interested to try the single vineyard bottlings. This once certainly in no danger of decline.

Medium ruby, medium-bodied and structured, this Pinot delivers a firm core of red currants, cranberries, dried herbs, loamy earth and cedary oak. Fresh, seamlessly alcoholic (14.5%) and with plentiful fine-grained tannins, it has excellent mid-palate density and closes with good length. Since my last tasting 8/19/2015, the tannins have integrated and the wine is now approaching its drinking window. Drink 2017-2021.

Damn--on the back of the bottle we are told there are flavors of black cherry and raspberry mingling with earth and truffle. I couldn't find those truffle. Still a decent wine, almost Barossa like and a great price.

This is up there with and almost at the same quality level as the big boys of Oregon but at maybe 60% of the price of the Cristoms, Brick Houses, Antica Terras, Bergstroms and Soters et al of this world. Big and full bodied and still somewhat tannic, it has loads of spice to bring complexity to the dark cherry profile. Almost Sonoma-like with its body but the earthiness reminds you of its Oregon roots. Still on the young side, it is very drinkable now but will only get better with a brief rest in the cellar. Sure to provide at least a decade of pleasure. Great value. www.advinetures.ca

Bu à la grande dégustation de Montréal 2015. Nez sur le bois et la gomme balloune. En bouche, un brin sucré mais soyeux et assez fruité, ample et costaud mais bien fait tout de même. Assez long avec encore une impression de sucre.

This medium ruby, medium-bodied, structured effort exhibits a firm core of red currants, cranberries, dried herbs, loamy earth and cedary oak. Freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (14.5%) and firmly tannic, it builds in the middle and concludes with a lengthy, gravelly-edged finish. Short-term cellaring is in order here. This is a serious Pinot worthy of attention. Drink 2017-2021.

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir: Light-medium ruby colored. Vibrant and tangy red fruit on the nose (currants, strawberries and raspberries) topped with a significant dose of complex herbal notes (dill pickle, pepper, tobacco), hints of rose hips. Medium-full bodied with some dusty tannins of moderate strength, the acid keeps it slick. Flavors of red cherries, wild strawberries and black cherries…. The earthy/herbal notes (pepper, pickle, wet soil, moss) are delicious and woven in well with the juicy fruit. Notes of cedar, mocha and root beer, too. Complex, lots to show, long finish, could develop significantly more complexity over the next three or four years. 16 months in 40% new French oak.
