  • Great viscosity and mouth-feel, yet her weight remains light, even lithe on the palate while offering full dark berry, strawberry, and spices. Loved it.

  • As with all of the wines I've had from Kurt, this has a weightlessnes whist being massive with fruit and spice. Low tannin low acid all done beautifully. Great with slow cooked baby back ribs

  • Decanted for over three hours.
Medium+ aromas show firm baking spice notes, cinnamon, star anise and allspice with scents of violets and lavender, peppercorn, earth, brambly blackberry, plum, cocoa nibs, vanilla bean and toasty oak with hints of smoke
The palate reveals flavors of concentrated fruit, blackberry and blueberry, with plenty of jammy marionberry on the full body. Cinnamon, allspice, vanilla and star anise come into play with violates, grilled meats, pink peppercorn, and notes of brown sugar and oak. The acidity is medium/medium+ with medium/medium+ tannins that leave the feeling of cocoa powder. The finish is medium+ in intensity and length lingering on the brown sugar and blueberry flavors.
