garnet, medium body/legs, mild aromas of dark berries, tobacco, and cassis, balanced earth, oak forward, and fruit with moderate tannins and moderate finish, manufactured flavor, but good qpr @ < $13 if you like old worldliness and manufactured fruitiness

fruity forward with some tannins to provide balance. nicely balanced and drinkable but nothing special. In fact, it feels almost to "formulaic" to me...

A little tight initially, but it opened up after a couple of hours with fruit, spice, chocolate, and substantial but balanced tannin. Balanced acidity, medium to long finish. Good value for $12 from Trader Joes.

Deep purple to the edge. Vinturi into decanter. AFter 1-1/2 hours there is a little perfume to the nose. Black Cherry and Cassis with a faint touch of barnyard. Good acid with very little noticeable tannin. Good fruit and nice finish. Very good QPR at $14.00. Drinking well now, should improve with a few years in the cellar.

Red and black fruit with some sharp tannins, lots of oak. Seemed to soften after 2 hr decant, but revealed some--not to pleasant dusty earth, which covered the fruit.

Fruity, tart. A true Cabernet! Strong, enjoyable - fruit and alcohol to nose. Great buy for $20. Decanter and it will really open up. Great with fatty dish.

one of the better QPR wine available - regardless of price. it has a lighter body with smaller mouthfeel than the higher priced wines but a much better fruit flavor. the nose is full of red and blue fruit scents.

Boasts firm, juicy, notes of cherries, red currants, and cocoa over wet earth and must. Full bodied, tasty, and persistently long. Quite good and offers great value.

Aromas of cherry and slight orange peel. Soft start on taste, little tannin left, smooth, not sweet or dry. Easy to drink. Went well with steak.

Nothing too special. Started off spicy but just needed to breathe and smoothed out over time.

Tart fruity, $20 land in Paso is a fraction of Napa. Price can be lower. Like sienna on the nose.cough syrup. Acid. Loves fat.

Too fruit-driven "new world" style for my taste but nothing wrong with it. Offers good value at $15 for those who like this style.
