Pale greenish color. Bought this off the list at Octo Fishbar, split bottle over 90 minutes plus.. Found this on the list doing reconnaissance before dinner and saw it was a KL selection - which is always a good indicator. Went with it after reading all the nice notes on CT and was not disappointed. At $55 on the list, so not too bad, and corkage would have been 20 or 25 there anyway. Interestingly the first bottle was corked but second one delivered. Very good typicity, lots of steely minerality and tart focused citrus with a god lime infusion to give it some kick. Well balanced and showing good acidity, there's also enough brine and seaweed here to give some extra interest. 91+ to 92pts.

Opened and it was closed and uninteresting. Evolved after 30 minutes and was fresh, sea salt, minerality, lemon, medium finish & pale straw color, not a hint of truffle, great value.

Domaine Costal is a collaboration between Chablis producer Domaine Jean-Collet and Kermit Lynch. While not of Premier Cru status, this wine is from a single vineyard site in Villy called "Truffières." The 2013 iteration is pale yellow, intensely aromatic and delicious from the get-go. White flowers, lime zest, crushed rocks and stone fruits characterize the nose and palate, supported by crisp acidity and seamless alcohol (12.5%). Although this is a light-bodied wine, it is impressively dense in the middle and closes with admirable length. Kermit Lynch never seems to disappoint. Tremendous value here! Drink now-2021.

Still awesome, it was nice to see this in a flight of other good Chablis, it stands out. Complex lemon and honey (botrytis) flavors, nicely balanced, great finish and weight in mouth. Reconfirms my cellar purchase.

What a lovely Chablis for the money. The nose brings Meyer lemon, and on the palate lots of minerals, chalk, seashell, sea salt and a medium finish layered with all of these flavors.

The nose was layered and inviting, with mineral-laden stone up front, opening in the glass to reveal young peach, crushed seashell and a hint of smoke. It was like silk as it coated the palate with a pulse of vibrant acidity which ushered in flavors of ripe stone fruit, saline minerals and hints of wild herbs. Layered and complete with a great presence on the palate and throughout the finish.

Other than a slight bronze note this is a fresh and lively Chablis. Forgot it a bit long but glad I did. Pedigree shows.

I love this Chablis with its minerality, grilled lemon, sea salt, a little chalk, and maybe a little bit of truffles. Nice finish too.

Intense lovely nose. Big and round in the mouth with lemons and a bit of spice. Long finish with nice citrus flavors. A keeper at $26.
