Lucky me! Drank this against a 2012 Chassagne Montrachet Les Caillerets Paul Pillot. This is the better wine. Much lighter in color than the 2012. But beautiful all the way around and I would say a relative bargain for the taste. I would be drinking both now but definitely need to drink the 2012 at this point.

Fantastic wine. Starts out with mineral and slightly reductive, sulfury notes on the nose, but with air this really opens up. Aromas of pear, lemon cream, and brighter floral notes emerge as this is open over a few hours, and the palate shows impressive depth with layers of fruit and minerality, finishing long and savoury with bright acidity keeping it very light on its feet. I will definitely have to explore more from this producer.

Really well-made white Burgundy with hints of sulphur and delicious stone fruits flavors. Then a long stream of crisp acids and minerals leads to a complex finish with notes of nutmeg and spice. Lovely intensity and grip but the kind of wine to drink now as opposed to aging. At Nomad, NYC

Pale steely green; classic Chassagne nose, screaming stoniness with lemon, white flowers, lemongrass; intense palate, less fat than previous example, less persistant than the PYCM Chenevottes, great acid drive and precision, long finish; my kind of white Burg, yum.

Fresh yellow; nose is sweet yellow fruit, loaded with lemon curd, fresh; taut yet showing good ripeness on the palate, nice baby fat for future development, sweet fruit and nice stony underpinning; very Chassagne and very nice.

Lots of minerality and acidity. Citrus and pear on nose, but muted fruits on the palate. Needs some time in the bottle. Ordered at restaurant in NOLA, paired with a grouper dish.

La Paulée de San Francisco - Grand Tasting (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief note. Floral start with good spice, even with some pronounced new oak that still needs some time. Very good apple aromas. Similar flavors, just slightly less exciting. Broad mouth feel and nice textures.

More delicately floral on the nose with some mineral and nutty elements; quite lean acidic and mineral on the palate. Fine. 88-90
