Wonderful example of Sonoma cab now in its drinking window with at least 5 more years to go. Deep, opaque ruby red with hints of purple. Fresh, highly aromatic blackberry and red currant fruit. Earthy, stoney middle with a nice wood finish of nuts and vanilla. Surprizingly, no tertiary notes. Mouthfilling and delicious with a tart cherry (not at all jammy) lift, ripe taninns, well balanced; Long, even elegant, finish. 90 minute+ decant.

Double-Decanted and poured. This was a much better showing for this wine than a bottle just over a year ago, which seemed tight and closed. This bottle provided a nose that didn't need to be coaxed from the glass, evolving cabernet flavors with a mingling of earth and fruit, and possibly hints of cigar box. Sufficient structure to suggest it should drink well for some time. Previous bottle 89ish. This bottle 91+ish

Dark, extracted but medium bodied for CA cab. Mint eucalyptus adds interest. double decanted and let breath for an hour, and it was firm but in a good place for drinking so can drink or hold

A nose of dark fruits and spices, dark garnet in color. A full bodied single vineyard Cab, with blackberry, currants, earth, licorice and spice on finish. In a great drinking zone, short decant. www.winelx.com

Still very tannic, with a plum, black cherry profile. It really needs to flesh out some more, and right now it has rather clipped midpalate and more burnt finish. Does have potential, but I would revisit in about two years.

Old world in style, with the fruit balanced by herbaceous notes, tannins and acid. Took a good 1-2 hours to open, and better on day 2 after the remaining decant was poured back into the bottle and stored with Vacuvin. Nice, but probably getting better, I will hold for 6-12 months before my next bottle.

Well structured wine with nice berry and jam tones followed by an earthy finish. The tannins are there but light compared to bigger cabs we drank that night.

Not Napa cab. Not Sonoma County, Alexander Valley cab. has notes of Dry Creek Zin. Red with purple highlights and lots of extract. A Ton of fruit lies behind a wall of nicely structured tannin Needs several years 5+ in the cellar. A pleasant wine at this point, but merely one dimensional.

Really looks great in the glass deep rich ruby in color the color holds to the edge. Some sassy legs strong enough to make my wife jealous. Nose is powerful to be clear this is not coming across fruit bomb city it's got that dry creek mineral nose. Picking up leather pine and light cedar. Might be crazy but I am getting hints of red currant maybe blackberry. But the dark berries are taking the back seat to everything going on. I have spent a half of the bottle getting aquatinted to the nose. As the nose would suggest comes in dry hint of alcohol just enough tannin maybe blackberry and the both currant but the leather earth and branches from it are the stars. Rolls nicely through your palate thought there would be a bit more body and lushness but I won't knock it for that. Finish sticks around like an old friend you are catching up with more mineral some hints of vanilla fighting through the tannins and slight spice. I have three bottles left will sit on them if I can I think this wine has the potential for a interesting varied journey

Deep, dark fruit. Maybe a bit of leather on the nose. Balanced and dry. Decent finish. Very good for $20.

Very aromatic for a Cabernet. On the tongue this is soft and round but not great. It is a decent mid- range wine for $30.

Tasted at WL, balanced, nice nose, soft tannins, lots of fruit, some complexity, a nice cab, would buy a bottle. Not sure what the WS tasted?

Fruity accents not too much tannin. A very good deal for a wine that is ready to drink now.
