Hey Gak - also enjoyed ours with our first crab of the season! Golden color. Green apple, orchard fruits (mostly peach) and citrus on the nose; same flavors with a nice hit of lemon meringue and almond paste on the palate and finish. Start this one on the colder (and more acidic) side and enjoy the transition to the secondary and tertiary flavors as it warms in the glass. Very good.

Drank with first crab of season. Rich and luxurious. Olivet seems to be the Winery’s “biggest” Chardonnay without being overdone by oak or butter. Aging nicely.

Consumed with chicken piccata. Not very much flavor. All four of us thought it was 0ver the hill and past. Bottle variation? In any case it didnt meet our expectations and was out of the ordinary for for a six year old, Williams Selyem Chardonnay.

Very nice, some tropical fruits. Long finish. While very good, there are others that I like better, specifically Heintz and Allen. They tend to be a bit richer.

P/well chilled. Clear, med straw color. A delicious RR Chard. Lots of good and proper tasting fruit. Ideal drinking window with nice acid and plenty of sharp flavor. My WOTN w/plenty of body and power. Yum, nothing off. $63

One of the rare Chardonnays I preferred on the cooler side of the temperature scale (~50 degrees). As this wine warmed up the oak became a tad strong, but can't argue with the all around quality that I've come to expect from this producer.

Rich golden color, full, some butterscotch, lasting finish, reminded me of a corton charlemagne. seems like it has years to go.

This was exceptional. Big vanilla cream up front with lemon curd following. Oak perfectly integrated. Glad i have a few more bottles!

Turning on that butterscotch profile which I just don't find appealing-not gone but on the dark side

Explodes out of the glass with orange blossom and citrus. Excellent body with a touch of mallow lactic fermentation. A soft a long finish. A wow wine!
