Pale lemon green color. Medium nose with an immediate hint of oak (probably chips) and some tropical fruit such as unripe pineapple, mango, melon and traces of white peach. Watery on the palate, no structure, nor complexity whatsoever. Initial notes of green melon, pear and apple, skipping the mid-palate and finishing with a nutty-caramelized peach character. Medium acidity, fruit concentration and alcohol could've been in a better balance (even though it's only 12.5%, there's a slight burning sensation on the gums). Medium aftertaste where the flavors and acidity persist mostly. I'd rather go for a fruit punch than waste money on this.

Appearance: Clear wine with a pale lemon colour with both green and gold inflections.
Nose: Clean nose with a Medium+ intensity. This wine is youthful.
Quite generic and clumsy on the nose - overpowering oak, toast and lees notes. There is some fresh fruit underneath with lime, green apple and pears but it has to be dug out.
Palate: Dry Medium+ Alcohol Medium acidity Medium intensity Medium+ body Medium- finish
Fresh, simple and citric on the palate. Lemon and green apples are prominent fading into a slightly creamy, if a little short, finish. As the wine warms up it becomes slightly hot and flabby.
Good quality Chardonnay from South Australia. Drink now as it will not improve with age. At 12 euros a bottle, poor QPR in Spain where there are far better options.

Very simple basic wine. Sweety and very acidic. Some fruits and nuts at the taste. No much after-taste at all. Too young and fresh. No wonder as Koonunga Hill series is an entry level Penfold's wines. They are cheap and low quality. Try better what Penfold's famous for, red wines from Bin series.

More tropical than unexpected for a chardonnay. Bit of lemon, mango, and peach, but boozier than I'd like for what it is.

Buttery with a bit of an acidic aftertaste. OK for easy drinking

Full bodied, well wooded food wine. Remained very good on Day 2 when bottle was finished. Next year it should be better.

Hay and oak on the nose.
Oak, lime/lemon, light fruits and notes of rush.

lemon, lime, melon, peach and pear with underlying minerals. Sweet upfront with a relatively dry finish.
