Clear, perfect brass colour, white rim and indistinguishable tears in a wide, slow falling rim Clean, med- intensity, and aromas of ripe pears, honey, lemon, fresh cut hay. Dry, med- alcohol, no tannins, med acidity, med- body, light in complexity but working well with my sashimi. Further tastes of flat cider, Macintosh apples, camomile, sea salt, and lotus root. Med finish, great with fish.

Fresh subtly honeyed nose, very much purer and more driven by the fruit than I recall in previous vintages; lovely weight on the palate, great Chenin flavour - this again is a superb value wine. Rarely disappoints.

Well above average. However, too High in alcohol (14%). Low acidity. Almost alkaline.
