From magnum. Showed really well, balanced with great interplay of tannin and acid, and not over the top whatsoever in the fruit department. Classy cabernet.

Much better than I remembered from a year ago. It is showing a refinement and power that was previously not apparent to me. Wonderfully integrated with a long finish.

This one is coming alive now. I had the first bottle over a year ago and it has come a long way since then. I suspect the next 2 bottles are only going to get better! I am definitely looking forward to see what this one has to offer over the next few years.

Slightly better than he last time. It is now showing additional aromas of wet stone, coffee, licorice and dark chocolate on the pallate with more rounded dusty tannins. Is in a good trajectory right now.

Agree this was kind of 1-D, after lots of time in decanter this started to show chocolate, creamy oak, dark fruit, lots of fat with latent texture and structure; I'm sure more cellaring will help open this but may not improve a whole lot.

This is the first Sullivan I have had since the 1999 vintage that I felt was returning to the wine I fell in love with. The past vintages recently have been OK at best, but this is headed in a much better direction. Hints of that cocoa powder, green olive, cedar, and Rutherford dust that I feel makes up the terroir of Rutherford. If this is the wineries new direction, I'm all for it.

This wine is delicious. Fruit forward, abundant black cherry, soft tannins. I enjoyed it right out of the bottle, and it improved with a little time in the glass. Will definitely look to purchase this wine again.

Patience has paid off. Smooth tannins and more integrated than earlier tastings. Finish could be longer, but had no problem drinking this up!

Day 1: a bit Smokey and oaky for me. Quality is good. But not a style of wine I enjoy very much.

Not very bold and may only have one year left in the cellar. Good but not great.

Still drinking well. Paired nicely with rack of lamb and roasted Brussel sprouts.

Nice little Cabernet with typical Rutherford, very fruit forward but very one dimensional. Good but not the most interesting wine in the cellar.

Much improved from the last bottle. Depth and finish are proving this to be a wise purchase.
