Light funk with savory elements serving as a backdrop to the crunchy, acid-driven red fruit. Quite good now, but clearly in need of several more years in the cellar.

Decanted for 2 hours, then followed over 3. 1/2 bottle saved for next day
The wine shows restrained Dundee hills aromas upon opening that blossom with air. Bitter tannins and acids with just a hint of the sulfur "funk" are present. After decanting, these retreat to just 10% of their initial attack. Really nice wine with good acids and young firm cherry, cranberry, Dundee dirt flavors. Perhaps a bit of stems also? All in all, a damn nice bottle of pinot at this price point that is only going to improve. I'm sitting on a case and hope to enjoy these daily's in 5 years...if they remain hidden.

Expressive on opening. Age has eliminated the funk reported in my prior TN. Very cherry. Balanced and integrated tannins. Concentrated, forward flavors of cherries, cranberries, straw. Slight acidity adds character

4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Rick's & Cris'): Opens with notes of cherry, spice and tobacco. Initially a bit thin across the midpalate and through the finish, but with air it filled out nicely with plenty of cherry and red berry quaities. Has a dark streak running through it. Excellent.
I was very happy to see our bottle when this was revealed. Very nice, and no signs of brettanomyces, in any of its various strains, as others have mentioned.

Very funky at opening. Lots of brett, earth. Blew off after about half an hour. Bright red color, medium body. The wine is slightly acidic, tannic with red cherry and strawberry flavors. Lots of earth, minerals, almost too much. Will try again in a few months. Hoping for the best!!

Very, very funky on opening, but it receded quite a bit after 20 minutes or so of aggressive swirling. What's underneath the funk is really beautiful. Floral nose, red fruited palate mixed with savory forest floor. No evident alcohol, medium body, really perfectly balanced. I enjoyed this much more than my first bottle. Great value.

Opened with some reduction, which blew off pretty quickly. Nice sappy, cherry quality on the palate. I'm not sure I like this more than the 2013 WV, and I definitely don't like it 50% more, but it gives a good insight into the house style.

Has a decent amount of funk initially, but with air it dissipates. I like this a lot. It should age well over the short to medium term. Solid value.

Wanted to like it as the structure in the wine is evident, but sadly there was too much off / bretty flavors in this bottle to taste well
