Last bottle. Huge fan of this wine. Great depth of fruit on the nose - bitter grapefruit and tangerine. Becomes slightly sweeter as it warms, adding honey, apple peel and strawberry notes. There's a sea breeze quality to the nose as well. Sweet red fruits and fresh herbs run across the palate, finishing with sweet citrus. Some acidity but the fruit notes really shine - it walks a perfect balance between refreshing and interesting.

A lot of bottle variation among the three I've opened. This is the best of the bunch, with loads of bright strawberry fruit in a lightly pet-nat package. The nose is indistinct and unremarkable, but the wine has a kind of a fun fruit-and-rocks thing going on on the palate. The previous two bottles I've opened have had off flavors and were actually rather unpleasant. This one isn't offensive, but it's hardly the most compelling rose I've ever had. I own more Cameron than any other wine in my cellar - love his pinots, chardonnay, and ramato - but this isn't one I plan to reload.

Fantastic mix of fresh, bright strawberries and cherries, wrapped in a orange citrus bow. Dusting of stone fruit and herbal notes, and you've got a great drinking rose. Perfect change of pace for this dreary rain we've been experiencing.
One bottle left, hoping for an encore in 2015.

Favorite rose this past year - such a great mix of sweet cherries, tart raspberries, orange rind and vanilla. Blends sweet and tart so well, with salty minerality and bright acidity. I hope this becomes a regular for John Paul.

Opened during dinner with friends so brief impressions only. Pale color with notes of strawberry, peach blossom and melon. Nice acidity on the palate with flavors of strawberry, citrus and candied cherry. Very nice.

Stone fruit on the nose and in the mouth with plenty of melon in the middle and some wet stone, chalk and salinity towards the finish with med / med-minus acidity. After years of dismissing OP rose, this one might have won me over -

Really pretty wine. The nose is great, offering rainier cherries and sweet orange citrus, something along the lines of clementine or mandarins. There's a bit of peach skin and spice too, but the cherry and citrus interplay really takes center stage. There's an herbal note on the nose too that I can't quite put my finger on - maybe lavender and a bit floral. Bright upon entry, still red but softer - more strawberry then cherry. There's a really nice overripe yellow peach note running across the palate too. Some acidity, but really - it's a soft and very approachable wine. I tend to like mineral driven roses but this might be my current front runner for the best rose I've enjoyed all year.

Mineral, a bit light on fruit. Nice acid.

This is definitely off - oddly sour and flat.

Rose petal, citrus and cherry notes. Cherry, mineral and floral qualities on the palate. Bright acidity; well-balanced.
