Orange, Sicily, Cowan and some others (Chagrin Falls): Trocken. After the tasting we had a discussion about Riesling and this got opened. I have been drinking a lot of 2015 Riesling lately so I am a bit spoiled. This is very solid but it just didn't strike me as great last night. Light gold. Steely with minerals on the nose. The palate has "wet rocks" and hints of grapefruit. Dry. Slight depth. For $20, there is some value here though. Its good if not great.

Straw gold color. Good nose and reisling flavors with lemon grass and a strong dose of coconut. But I'll repeat RLOVE's comment that it lacks energy on the palate. You kind of sit there and wait for that zing to catch up with the entry, but it doesn't come. $22 locally.

Nose: Clean, Elevated intensity nose, youthful in nature. Terpenes - fresh white flowers, ripe peach and melon. Ripe citrus - lime. Slightly reductive. The aroma is a bit depressed. A bit of pool toy/petrol, possibly TDN. Possible slight botrytis.
Dry, maybe 2-3g/L RS. Medium minus body, Diminished alcohol - 11% High acidity - malic and tartaric. no phenolic bitterness.
Old-world - slate driven.
Albarino - Acid is too high. Riesling - Gruner Veltliner - No phenolic bitterness, no vegetal character.
This is Awesome: German Riesling, Trocken. Australian Riesling - not throwing off as much petrol as I'd expect. Alsace Riesling - not enough alcohol, I'd expect more dirtiness - maybe more botrytis.
Mosel, Riesling, 2014. Good quality - I like this a lot!
Actually: 11.5% alcohol, Peter Jacob Kuhn Riesling Trocken, Rheingau 2014. No oak, but large Foudres or "Stuck".

Petrol, mineral, crystalline nose, white fruit, rounder on the palate- almost surprised the acid seems soft.

Great nose of white/yellow stone fruit. Palate was slightly disappointing in comparison. Very good for €10.

Very pale yellow. Nose of tart apple, crushed rock, and spice. Lacks energy in the mouth. Drink through 2018.
