Brick red. Wine absorbed halfway up cork, plan to drink rest of my bottles soon. Used Venturi, cola, berry, vanilla nose. Sweet port like, but heat on opening, but better after 2 hours.

This bottle was much better than the previous one I had. I decanted for 2 hours, and I believe I hit its sweet spot. Was delicious, with a velour like texture. The wine weakened as time went on. If I did not try this until after a 3 1/2 hour decant again, I would rate it around an 88-89. This says to me that if you have some of this wine laying around, drink it now, because I think it is getting to the end of its life.

Magenta with a dash of bricking. Strawberry, meat, potpourri, and cherry cola nose. Not all at the same time. Medium to full bodied, pomegranates, bing cherries, pepper, well integrated tannins, baking spices, smoke, and medium to long, slightly sweet finish. Very good on night 1, it was great on night 2.

Quite a bit of heat, even after a 3 1/2 hour decant. Roughly 15 minutes in the glass calms it down quite a bit though. Deep garnet in color, with a great nose. Red fruit flavors, with a bit of a kick. Not the best grenache I have had (that would be the Clarendon Hills, Romas), but enjoyable none the less. Would score it higher if it had a smoother finish.

Deep garnet in glass. Cork still in good shape but already soaked more than halfway though. These may need to be consumed over the next 2 years. Heady bouquet of roasted plums, ripe black cherry, dates, sassafras, port. Very rich and port like for a Grenache and quite hot as well on the finish. Takes on a funky CdP characterisitic after some hours in the bottle. Enjoyable but a bit over the top.

This is really drinking well. Upon opening, detected some of the heat that others have mentioned and ample red fruit. Opened for 3 hours prior to drinking and heat went away. Darker fruit shows up as it breathes. Dusty tannins are well integrated. Bigger than typical grenache

- Aromas of menthol, mushroom, yoghurt, cedar and geranium and has flavours of black pepper, chocolate, black currant and green olive with a medium/full body. Round texture with a medium finish.

Good wine, very fruit driven. I love all of Clarendon Hills wines, but as for their grenache go for the Kangarilla or Hickenbotham vineyard. They are much more complex than this wine.

Wine needs time to breathe, but it's still very hot on the taste, and agree with others it's overly alcoholic. This wine tells you it's in charge, but the lingering berry flavors let you think you are, if only for a minute. Would love to give it a higher score, but it's approachability knocks it down quite a bit.

Garnet to perhaps dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of florals, white pepper, berries and graham crackers. Flavors of berries, sweet cherries, white pepper and a hint of red licorice. Medium to bright acidity, firm tannins, full bodied. Drink now with air or continue to hold.

This was good from the start but 15 minutes of air really had this wine singing. Big berry nose, rich full body, and a lengthy finish. Enjoyed by all, wish i had more.

Clearly the junior bottling in the Clarendon Hills lineup, but only because the other wines are really awesome. This was a restaurant pop and pour. Shows strawberry and currant on the nose, very pretty. The palate brings red raspberry, and the strawberry gets concentrated. There's some stones and exotic spices on the finish. A delicious wine. 91

This was decanted for three hours. Deep black cherry in color with brisk aromas of berryfruit, mild earth and herbs. Full nectar with soft, drink me now tannins and a bit of acidity. Rich and concentrated with a generous explosion of darkfruit, citrus, chocolate, raspberries, and stoney gravel. This wine is muscular yet inviting. The finish goes on and on and has a touch of acidity to balance. I'm diggin' it.

Red fruits, plums and a touch of prunes. Lots of spice. It has age on it but still quite good.

Unfortunately I let this one mature too long. Some raisin notes which I prefer to avoid. Bummer, should have listened to the CT conventional wisdom.
