The more I taste the Keefers the more I like them. Heady nose of black cherry, blueberry (but not a lot), herbs, and mushrooms. Seamless on the palate, but with a touch of heat. Cherry, graham cracker and cinnamon on the finish. Some heavy sediment. 14.3% alc. With salmon under a panko and mustard crust with some balsamic for good measure. 11.05.20. Recommended.

Bright red fruit, light and acidic, reserved relative to many Loring wines. Some sharp aromatics that I can't quite put my finger on, not bad, just a little unexpected. Some nice forest floor notes to finish. This is a summer wine.

Similar to my previous experience. Opens with earthy / barnyard aromas and taste, developing into cranberries and other light red fruits. Good spice and acidity on the back end. Great complexity - this is a winner from Loring!

A Keefer to not be missed! I adore the earthy, spicy and red-fruited nuances, on both palate and nose. There's a minty aftertaste during the long finish. So much persona and almost strident, yet the earthy strut keeps it all on the one. There's depth, and evident acidity. Drink now - 2026.

Thanks KING CAB for nailing perfectly the tasting notes. Orange peel on the palate shows on the color rim as well. Loring PNs are crafted to drink on the younger side, and this is in an absolutely beautiful phase. We tasted vertically with a 2015 Keefer Ranch, and this is discernibly more voluptuous, fruit forward and complex. Paired well with grilled rosemary, lemon and garlic lamb with a long grain rice, mint, and grilled yellow zucchini side. Gorgeous wine...

Very enjoyable, with a strong herbal, and cherry notes on the nose. A strong pinot that may not appeal to old world afficianados, but hits all the notes for a California styled wine.

A slightly subdued nose of dark berries and camphor. Palate shows a complication that I truly love; some rose petals, some orange peel and some dark cherry pie compote. Classically structured and Cali in approach, this has great purity. I love the bing cherry note stuck right in it's heart. Back to the complication: This possesses many layers of goodness it's hard to chose any one quality to celebrate, so I will celebrate it as a whole. Near perfect balance and deft tannic structure make this a true 'ager' while it so pleases in the here and now. Love the exotic tea note and truly dig that orange peel and it's all wrapped withing some nice weighted density. The Keefer distinctiveness is evident and all remains on the palate for long past its downward trek. What a treat.

LWC wines are all very solid pinots and great values. I wouldn't cellar these for more than a few years, but they are delicious, and have good balance now and good fruit, with a decent finish.

Young nevertheless impressive 2014 RRV Pinot displaying potential for excellence. Spice and subdued fruit elements. Well balanced with an enticing and appropriately complex finish.

Expected signs of age: Edges browning to light brick red, and prune character to the palate. But retains a soft core of red fruit.

Another excellent example of 2014 Loring single vinyard releases. A Massive bouquet and complex palate makes this a 93-94 for me.
