Aroma: Tea, honey, melon, dates, floral notes, and pear. Palate: Searing acidity. A mouthful of orange, quince, honey, and melon. Finishes with an immense mineral note and a spicy/nutmeg component.

Very oxidized. Almost masks the fruit. Wondering if this is normal esp. considering it's not very old? Considerably different than the 14 which is a lot fresher.

Chenin Blanc Flight-Mostly Loire (SF Wine Trading Company): Brings the full Savennières wooliness to the nose. Lighter weight for Chenin Blanc, lots of soil and acidity. Idiosyncratic and definitely not for everyone.

C9duP2007 tasting @ my friend’s “the judge”. Probably my highest scoring tasting ever with 94.7 as an average of 18 wines. (@ VD): As a starter and I did not have the time to make many notes. Somewhat locked bouquet with minerals. On the palate white fruits, minerals, smoke and firm acidity.
