There was substance, character, some minerality and chalk on the back end. No obtrusive lemon, just a hint of background citrus and a length that this cheapie had no right demonstrating. I imagine that most buyers will have consumed their bottles, it was only good luck that I had forgotten about this half dozen. In my case, no point waiting - this Setilles from a great White Burgundy vintage is far better than I ever hoped that it would be.

This time it seemed a bit sharp, almost harsh. I wonder if perhaps the grapes were not fully ripe? Reasonable minerality and citrus. No obvious oak nor malolactic. How much you like it may depend on how you're feeling that day. Goes fairly well with oily, lemony chicken dishes.

Very pale lemon and bright. Evolved a lot since I last tasted it, aromas of lemon, lime, gun flint. The palate has lovely citrus fruit flavours, with a medium weight on the mid palate and a lovely creamy texture on the finish. Really tasty and appetising wine which works well on its own or with food.

Pale lemon. Apple and citrus and some cheesy funk on the nose. The palate has bright crab apple fruit, some stoniness on the mid palate with some drying sourness on the finish. Very enjoyable.

Just 'ok' for this level and price - I think the next level up in the range offers significantly better quality for little extra cost. This tastes like most wine is from Puligny-Montrachet, perhaps declasified - lots of freshness without much mineralitie, concentration or complexity. Correct without being exciting. Will improve for a year, but probably lacks the stuffing to merit keeping beyond 2020. At this price, I prefer Chassagne Montrachet for the better QPR and roundness.

Precisely integrated oak with generous aromas of lemon cake, green apple, and starfruit. Citrus fruits are encapsulated by an ever-present hum of acidity. A finish of vanilla persists with long lingering acidity. A stalwart expression of white Burgundy that reminds me I should drink more white Burgundy.

Gott men ner två pinnhål sedan förra omdömet. Lite kartigare. Ibte samma lätthet och balans i paljetten. Drog för mycket åt syra-/limehållet för att ligga kvar på 90. Fortfarande ett gott vin.

Aromas of lemon tart, mineral, saline and sea salt. Flavors of sea shell, saline, star fruit and Mineral. Ends with the finish of 15+ seconds with a stony minerality. Has a really nice tanginess to it. Nice feeling entry level white burg.

Clear medium lemon. On the nose, fresh apple, pear, flinty minerality - developing notes of tangerine and a hint of peach as it warms in the glass. Just about medium(+) acidity, medium(+) body, medium(+) intensity of apple, tangerine, citrus lime, flinty minerality, subtle oak. Medium(+) finish. Very enjoyable for a regional-level. Crisp and fresh, and quite fruity if not overly complex.

Good Bourgogne blanc. Some toast to start, followed by lemon, apple, a touch of butter. Great acidity on the palate, with some more toasty notes. Good body to start, but falls off. Solid finish though.

Solid bourgogne with a nose of green apple, lemon custard, pear, marzipan, and wood spice. The palate is crisp and has nice freshness and good depth for the level. Overall good although I think I would prefer it without the wood influence.

Simple and straightforward generic Bourgogne. Still, good with a good qpr. Typical for Chardonnay grown where Chardonnay shall be grown. Nose with pears & green apples, hints of oak with some minerals. Palate shadows the nose, with pears and apples, citrus fruits and some butter. This is a very nice & solid everyday drinker that works well with food, and shows that the producer has put some effort into the bottle, despite the low price range. Recommended, as a low budget white Bourgogne for pop & pour consumption.

Nice nose of yellow and green fruit with a hint of honey. On the palate a bit too soft with medium+ acidity and not much in the way of minerals or complexity. Very pretty fruit though. Fairly good for its level but nothing to get too excited about. Probably best drunk within 4-5 years, starting now. Had it alongside a Montagny 1er cru in the same price range and the Montagny was just on another level.

Good burgundy carachter, as Always in this wine. Very high acidity and loads of lemon, some green apple. A Fresh wine with decent depth, very good length. Might earn a point if you let it wait a year, will last 1-3 years, no problem!

Along with the 2010 the best in the line-up of 2009 - 2015. Tasting the 2010 tasting so well at six years makes me believe that the 2014 will improve even more with age.

Frederic Wildman Luxury French Tasting (Peninsula Hotel - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Floral start with ripe fruit. A bit of new oak that still needs tim to integrate. Rounded and seemingly slightly modern styled. VG for its level and price, probably best to cellar for another year.

Great value wine. Great acidity and citrus fruits, lovely weight to it. More than other wines from this vintage that I've tried this needs a little more time but everything is there. I'll give other bottles I have another 6 months and then consume by this time next year. Very enjoyable.

Really impressed by this vintage, good fat and richness but incredibly defined fruit- mainly lemon and almost a chalky minerality; most of all I love the drinkability especially as weather warms.
