Light straw-hued. Aromas and flavors of cream, lime, and orange zest. Slightly fizzy, with a musty nose and a subtle finish. Preferable chilled or as part of a cocktail. A blend of Torrontes (90%) and Sauvignon Blanc (10%).

For years I've seen this wine everywhere but didn't have a clue it was this tasty. Refreshing, slightly effervescent, with glazed, orchard fruit notes, and an off-dry sweetness that is cut by kick-ass acidity. Minerally and brisk on the finish. The colder it's served the better.

As others mentioned here, we made the Argentine cocktail "Tincho" with this wine by serving over ice with fresh lime. Not too sweet (apples & honey) with a light tang & some effervescence. So refreshing, goes down mighty easy on a hot day. Great $10 fun drinker. Summerific!

Enjoyed this with the crushed ice and lime squeeze. I really liked it a lot. A very refreshing cold "wine cocktail" or "spritzer", or "wine soda", whatever the hell you want to call it. Perfect for summer, and enjoyable with a wide variety of foods. Had the color of ginger ale, and fizzed like it too. I didn't think it was as sweet as others have noted. Flavor notes are going to be slightly off as per the lime squeeze. , but I got some green apple, mineral, a little creamy banana, and definite citurs, like, say, lime!! Anyway, a good price for a nice enjoyable alocholic soda. I recommend.

4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Mike's & LA's): Notes of acetone and beeswax; has a mineral note too. Flavors of apple and pear; honeyed; effervescent. Develops a plastic quality. Possibly flawed, possibly just really damn weird. No guess as to what this was.

This is the perfect beginner wine. Easy to drink. Sweet, but not too sweet. Smell brings out citrus fruits pears and apples. Palate has a lot of pear and apple notes. I had this with a peach cobbler and it was fantastic. I usually don't like whites so this is always my fall back white.

What a great little $9 bottle of wine. Boat day at the beach called for something light and refreshing - this fit the bill. Very light in color with some light bubbles, fresh fruity nose and delicious palate. This Argentinian wine is meant to be what it is - off dry, slightly sweet and just delicious and refreshing. Very nice.

Pear, floral, and mineral on the nose. On drinking, the mouth is first treated to a light carbonation. Nice, bright flavors of pear, citrus, and mineral notes. A nice sweetness that is well balanced by the acidity. This is a fun wine. You may want to serve this in Champagne flutes to preserve the light carbonation.

Last I saw this wine was 50% white malvasia, a delicate floral white, and 50% sauv blanc, a grassy citrusy white. This wine is a bit sweet for my palate but not overly so, I prefer dry or off-dry whites. I've observed many women, esp. casual drinkers, love this wine, including my own mom who has issues liking anything other than white zin and simple sweet roses. So given the price as tested, $7, this would be a great party or picnic white, and the alcohol is in the lower range, too. I agree its taste would complement lime.

Refreshing summer wine - especially when served over ice w/ lim - as odd as it may sound to some this style of wine is frequently served in such a manner. The slight R/S compliments the citric acid introduced by the lime nicely. Probably the best thing about this wine is that you can find it just about anywhere.

Always a party/pool favorite; served with several ice cubes and a lime wedge, this proved to be a nice break in between the whites and the bold reds we were about to serve - plus, it got people talking and more relaxed with its lively effervescence and well balanced citrus fruits. Can't wait to open some poolside this year. 9.5% abv, approx $11, drink now, but best on a really warm day.

Perhaps the ultimate poolside, summer time sipper, the New Age is best served over ice, with a lime.
Once the wine is poured over the ice in the glass, the effervescence becomes quite obvious as the reaction is similar to pouring a Sprite over ice in a glass.
Immediately one is treated to lovely aromas of ripe citric fruit - limes, lemons, kiwi
On the palate, expect a medium bodied wine with lively acidity and extremely refreshing effervescence.
Of all the bottles I've poured over the last 3 months, this is always the first one to be completely drained. 9% alcohol, approximately $13
Drink through 2008

On of the best $10 whites I've had in the past 6 months. Made from 50% Sauvignon Blanc and 50% Malvasia. It blows away Bonny Doon’s Malvasia, and is as fruity and aromatic as a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Off-dry with plenty of acidity to balance out the sweetness.
