This was in the shockingly good category. Alluring nose with lemon and flint. On the pallet it is lemon, flint, mint with a hint of something savory. Finish pops and lasts. Beautiful wine

Deep gold/amber, Flavours of ripe apple and lots of butter. Typical classic Chassagne-Montrachet. As the colour indicated the wine had unfortunately past it's best! Drink now if you have any left in cellar and cross your fingers!

Shockingly good, served out of magnum, and all 6 were equally impressive. Notes of ripe stone fruits, crushed stone, loamy earth; hints of flower and spice box. Medium bodied, excellent depth, round texture, good acidity which nicely frames the long finish.

Lots of lean, cool, green fruit, some floral notes, hints of baking spice(mostly nutmeg), firm minerality and very subtle grassy undertones, all of which is framed in unobtrusive oak. Very nice.

Found this fairly open and showy over two hours, though definitely on the riper, larger scaled side given the vintage. Tasted against a '13 Bernard Moreau Chenevottes, the Moreau came off noticeably more lean and mineral.

Flickinger Customer Appreciation Tasting (Casino Club - Chicago IL): Tasting, brief note. Apple and pear with some lemon peel, all with moderate weight and wonderful balance. The minerality and textures on the finish really appeal to me. Cellar for a couple of years and I think the weight will really start to shine.

Flickinger Tasting at The Casino (Chicago, IL): On this bottle, I found the steeliness I like, along with plenty of sharp acids. There's a moderate peach tone on the palate, and this comes off just a tad on the ripe side. Couple this with a little bit of waxy Chassagne fruit.

Similar to the Chaumees, but with less acidity and minerality. Also quite nice.

Slight wood (hazelnut), lemon and white fruit, mineral, dense and ripe, drinking well.

A nice cool and refined Chassagne, some lemon and slight oaky notes, a bit too young, better wait 2 - 3 years.
