I liked the style here, while very much on the light side, this as some high-toned aromas of orange peel, rose hips with pale tart red fruits. Hints of leather and sous bois come about more with air time and introduce citric, fresh (thinner) flavors in the mouth with graceful, integrated tannins. This should hold on for a bit but the midpalate is already drying out compared to the acidity intact. Lovely, Classic Volnay. 90.
