Appears to have been stored standing up not on its side. Slightly acidic upon initial tasting. Having a hard time getting past the acid. Still very fruit forward and not as much depth as you’d find in an Oregon Pinot of the same age. Ultimately, was disappointed with the bottle.

Nose comes off deceptively heavy with notes of vanilla and rhubarb. On the palate it's semi rich with the expected cherry flavors but cut with some acidity so as not to be cloying. Mid palate is neutral but structurally sound. Finish has a bit of length but it's mostly the acid giving the sweet-tart sensation. Not unpleasant but nothing to rave on about. A well rounded jack-of-all- trades wine. Fair quality for value at $17

Medium ruby color. Smells like juicy, rich cherries and raspberries, along with some fresher elements of rose hips and cola. Medium-bodied with some moderately structured tannins, vibrant acidity. Flavors of sour cherries, raspberries and pomegranate. The fruit is mixed with roses, cola, slight cedar and coffee. Straightforward style, fruity but not fakey. Even at the entry-level, Bouchaine is legit.

This medium ruby-colored wine is done in an herbal, savory style. While there is a core of dried berry fruit, it plays second fiddle to dill, sage and earth. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (13.8%) and with soft tannins, it thins in the middle but does resurrect a medium-length finish. While not necessarily unpleasant, this Pinot does not activate the "wow" button. Drink now-2017.

Earthy dark fruit nose. Palate is cherry balanced by acid and tannins. Very nice structured but not overly complex.

Black cherry, dark fruit on the nose, opened with some air, a little less complex on the pallete.

Rich cherries; some tart fruit and a good level of earth; well integrated and acidity

Bountiful Cherry and moderate earth. Pleasant acidity and medium body. Enjoyable fruitier style Pinot that delivers that is memorable. Will by again.
