For 10!years old this wine, although a little brick color, is not oxidized and is delicious. Not much fruit but baking spices and some vanilla. Aged like a burgundy. Good job Jim

Nowhere near past its prime. Definitely hitting on all cylinders with plenty of life assuming you like mature Pinots.
The bright fruit from its younger days has transformed into a beautiful nose and palate - with slight bricking around the edges.
WO Proprietors Reserve is crafted for aging and this is - at this stage in its life - a shining example!
Went perfectly with the beef Wellington at Selby’s in Redwood City (and right next door to a large portion of my wine collection aging nicely in the K&L wine locker).

Popped and poured. Delicious. This wine is still improving, but in a great place. Drink or hold for a few more years. It has the tannin and acid to age some more

Red cherries, raspberries, spices, and maybe a hint of hoisin sauce on the nose. Medium acidity with sweet berries, cherries, and wild strawberries on the palate. Nice finish. A pretty wine with a lovely nose. Slightly less of the sweetness on the palate would really elevate it, but it’s very nice regardless.

I love the color—this wine clearly hasn’t been manipulated, and it’s a lovely ruby that’s just beginning to fade. Nose and midpallate are rich and fulsome.maybe some cherry, cinnamon and spice, plenty of flavor and a tart long finish.

Very pale garnet-rusty orange color--wonder how it gets this color! Aromas mirror the color with savory notes, brown sauce, not quite mahogany but with a fruitier background notes of macerated cherry skins I like the rhubarb call below). Very light and delicate, medium length, kind of intellectual wine, not sure about this though. Pretty good, but a very different style.

Decanted one hour. Great nose of sour cherry and rhubarb. On the palate sharply acidic and tart with pie cherry and cranberry flavors. Searing acidity on the finish. This has great potential but needs a lot more time. Hold for a minimum of 5 years.

Wow, this has evolved beautifully. Subtle flavors of sweet plum with forest floor. So well balanced and in a great place right now.

Excellent, let open for about 45 minutes. Just delicious, not overly fruit forward.

Popped and poured. Delicious. In a great place. Opened up over 3 hours. Recommend more time in cellar and/or decanting.

Just okay. Little too acidic for my taste. Tight and flinty wth muted fruit flavors. Opened up a llitte after a couple hours.
