Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays (Farpointe Cellar): The nose had lemon and chalk, with a fair amount of apple at the end. The palate was crisp and juicy, with a good shot of lemon surrounded by stone and apple. It finished with a pleasant burnt match flavor.

A good bottle this time...Grapefruit, Pineapple, and Lemon the nose and palate, a little high in the spritz dept. in the palate - co2?, high sugar, high acid, low tannin, and low astringency, this bottle was on the young side...Stark contrast from the oxidized bottle I had a few weeks ago...Both bottles are from the same case. The finish is medium length, this wine is good for an appellation designation...This bottle was on the young side of the drinking window...

Light yellowish color. Aromas of melon and peaches with certain mineral complexity. The taste is pretty straight forward chardonnay, with hints of minerals. It's a nice Chablis, I don't think you can expect much more than this from a $17 Chablis. Drink 1-2 years.

This wine really opened up; started out with a simple lemony tartness, seeming somewhat thin, but then opened up into a more mellow, complex, tropical fruit affair. I would try it again. Decent for $17-18.

February Portland,OR Tasting Group - 2002 Burgundy + more: Put this up against the R&V Dauvissat of the same vintage. The crux was that this wine was really showing more precision, more acid and more structure than the Dauvissat. While the Dauvissat was drinking really well (finally), this one may be starting to shut down now, the roles have swapped for me in recent months.

The wine was quite developed, a bit oxidized...That aside, the nose and palate were classic Chablis - mineral, chalk, slate, stone, etc...DRINK UP.

Clean, pure, some chardonnay character, but not really very exciting.
