Another in a long line of 2014 Chablis that can do no wrong. Some initial reduction blows off to reveal chalky, mineral-laden orchard fruits. Rich and juicy with crunchy cut. Long clean finish. In a good spot with no signs of letting up. Holds up strong over three days.

Very muted and something of a chemical smell a bit like maraschino cherries. Seems like an off bottle but does not have an obvious defect. So either it was a defective bottle or it’s completely dead.

Recent notes suggest this is on the slide and I haven’t had a bottle in a couple of years. Fearing the worst, I was pleasantly surprised to find out this bottle (at least) was just fine. The green tinge is definitely gone from the color, but it’s still healthy looking. Mineral driven nose with some oyster shell and a bit of lanolin over some pear notes. While at first flabby, some grip emerged the longer it sat in the glass. Based on all of the other comments, I’ll be putting the remaining few bottles in heavy rotation.

Enormous improvement with a night of air. On day 2 it was much fresher, the oxidation, diminished. On the nose - pineapple, grapefruit and apple. On the palatte - a long lingering finish and a nice mineral quality. Just need to open this stuff a day ahead of time.

Clear with green tinge in colour, understated straw and grassy nose with some reduction but not to the point of fault, apple and melon palate with unmistakable chalky limestone and linear acidity to clearly identify as a Chablis. A clean, crisp and uncomplicated but thoroughly enjoyable wine.

Burghound décrit très bien mes impressions: "pretty nose that displays notes of ocean shore, iodine, oyster shell, tangerine peel and lemon zest. There is fine richness and volume to the relatively dense flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality on the clean and markedly dry finale where the citrus elements telegraphed by the nose reappear. This succulent yet highly energetic and chiseled effort should drink well both young and with age." B93
Je vais attendre un autre 2-3 ans avant la prochaine et aller chercher un peu plus de complexité. Très joli vin.

my first bottle. Very nice on the attack, with some nice fruit, some oak and a nice finish. Rounded out over the hour and shows its youth. Nothing but upside on this nice QPR bottle.

Give this an hour of air and it is pretty darn good. At opening this was tight and showed some oak influence. With air it became more expressive and the oak was gone. We really enjoyed this with oysters!

First of a 6-pack. This was good, but not as rich and exuberant as most of the other 2014 Chablis I've had in the past 6-12 months. Seems to have the stuffing with moderate concentration and excellent structure. This will never be a world beater, but should improve by 1-2 points with bottle age.

A new producer for me. Another Chardonnay winner from the great 2014 vintage. Hardly a blockbuster, but all the components are harmonious. Some vanilla/oak notes layered underneath green apple. Acid is tangy enough to drive the bus.

Very good! This was fresh and zingy. Plenty of minerality/crushed limestone, wet rocks, yellow apple, green apple skin, plenty of citrus fruit, lemon zest. Really enjoyed this wine. Would love to revisit in a year. Awesome price point for what is in the bottle.

Starts off with a generous touch of green apple and then very quickly gets its Chablis game on, terrific palate presence of crushed shells framed by a solid mineral back bone. Acidity? Plenty, but very finely woven into the fabric of the wine, making its presence felt through out but never feels too sharp. Great sensation of dry extract on the finish that certainly punches above $23 price point. Stupid good value play here.

Comes sealed with a screwcap. It has a little more richness and body than the Billaud A.C but perhaps not the awesome cut. It is still very fresh with citrus fruits and some peach and length is impressive.

Smashable chablis. So easy and wonderful to drink on a hot Aussie summer's evening. This isn't particularly complex - at least not at this young stage of it's development - but it's already pretty approachable, with flavours of lemons, limes and green apples, with a creamy background note. Good, vibrant, minerally acidity. Fresh and enticing. Yum.

Pnp. Lemony to start. Strong bitter, pithy, grapefruit finish. Was a suitable accompaniment to chicken stew with lemon, olives, and capers.

Considerably less oxidized than the bottle I opened a few months ago. Still some solid life left here.

Tired - slight oxidative notes but all—around blah. Acidity was muted and, while improving slightly with air, was not enjoyable to drink.

Soft round fruit, on the larger side of Chablis, after a half hour more zing on the finish. Great QPR
