A similar floral, grapey Muscat nose as a couple of years ago, but rounder and a little more minerally. Ripe, quite rich, but less RS now, rich rather than that off dry, quite mineral and with a decent finish. Holds nicely over two evenings. ***

ZH Indice 2 and 13% abv. Very delicious wine. As Drwine2001 says in an earlier review, "Dry, spicy, mineral, and not too dense. This must be at the apogee of Muscat". Tonight it was off-dry but otherwise, his/her notes are strikingly similar to my thoughts as I was drinking this. It's a wine that probably could taste wonderful in many different ways if opened in the years to come. Tonight it rates Excellent to Outstanding!

Dry, spicy, mineral, and not too dense. This must be at the apogee of Muscat, and just as the wine/food pairing gurus propose, it was indeed a wonderful accompaniment to roasted asparagus.

Pale greeny yellow. Floral, grapey Muscat nose. Ripe fruit with a sense of off-dryness (indice 2), quite mineral and with a decent finish. I'm begining to really quite enjoy these ZH Muscats as an aperitif / general quaffer sat out in the evening air. ***1/2

Pale. Expressive nose, ripe, grapey fruit. Floral and nicely scented. Rise and floral attack, this is i little more composed than previous bottle last summer. Just the perfect wine for a hot summer's evening outside. Lovely but alcohol is noticeable. ***

Pale colour; nose very ripe and rich - almost more Gewurtz than grappey Muscat. Gives the impression of sweetness. On the palate though, this is dry. Quite a grapey, rich attack and then bone-dry with clean acidity and a mineral edge. Lacks some complexity and I'm not sure quite when the time to drink this would be, but it's decent. **1/2

A day at Zind Humbrecht (Turckheim, Alsace, France): Green tinged in color, this Muscat was deeper and richer than the previous wine and had more florality. This didn't seem to me to be one of the Goldert Muscats that can age for a long period of time. 50+12+11+7.5+7.5 = 88

Truly splendid. Nice minerality. Nose was of exotic fruit. One of the best whites I have had in years.

Very good. Golden hue, some viscosity. Rich, just off dry with balancing acidity. Grapey, mellow and great at table. Drinking well now
