Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Easily identiable as mature white Burgundy. Rich and ripe stone fruit aromas with a nutty element and some remaining oak hints. Same fruit flavors, also advanced, but holding well for a 1998. Drink up.

Medium yellow with golden hue. Rich oily aroma with pleasant creamy luch tropical peach note and slight hint of fino sherry. Soft delicate entry tthat blloms nicely in mouth. Lush and dense feel with flavors of dried apricot, apple, and distinct minerality. Good precision, but a tad short on the finish. Breed comes through with real sense of place. Well crafted and seemingly mature, but likely to hold here a few more years.

Meursault (Northside) 1er Cru vs Village, Mostly Blind (The Moll House - Chicago IL): Clearly past its peak, but this wine should never have been expected to last this long.

Cellaraid - Chardonnay Corfefe Luncheon and red wine based Dinner (Tonny's Restaurant): clear, deep gold; clean, pronounced nose, with aromas of apricot, bergamot and chives; dry, medium acidity, low alcohol, medium body, medium intensity, with flavours of apricot, bergamot, rosemary, with a medium finish; good wine; drink now

This is too ripe too appreciate. Lots of apple and ripe yellow fruit but the acidity is missing

Mature. Wax and darker citrus notes. Firm acidity on the finish. Oily. Showing very well.

Dark yellow. Buttered popcorn and floral nose. Anise, coconut and toasted bread along with white fruit. A little short on fruit.
