PnP. Dark straw > light gold; bright, lively color. Initial aromas are superb, with ripe orchard fruits, together with some citrus, mango, and honey notes. While the nose's initial intensity declines, modestly, with each pour, the body, and complexity of tastes increases along the same timeline. Elegant, mature, and, for my palate, definitely at prime time, this should show similarly well for five + years to come. I've got one bottle left that I'll be sure to drink in the coming 2-3 years; hopefully with good friends. Easily recommended, and still quite excellent with food.

Medium gold color; citrus flowers, Asian pear, apricot and orange marmalade on nose with green character from green tea to fresh green veg; enchantingly spicy and energetic palate; brilliant complexity on this. Consistently reliable producer.

Very pale yellow color. Great, fruity nose. Slight effervescence. Typical mineral flavor profile: stone fruit, mango, etc. Touch of green vegetal quality.

This one is fantastic! Very light straw color. Peach nectar nose. Apricot, tones of mango and pineapple. Lovely balance and mouthfeel. A touch of residual sugar adds interest. Really nice gruner.

Pichler and Hirtzberger (Weygandt Wines - Washington, D.C.): Loving the spicy complexity on the nose (white pepper, nettle, tobacco) with tropical juices mixed in. Peachy and rich on the palate, almost waxy, but also precise acidity and lots of zesty fruit. Tropical, too, and honeyed tea, but it stays elegant and spicy and complex. Wow this should age beautifully.

consistent with the bottle of 5 months ago - almost perilously young. Probably best to aerate to decanter for an hour or two (at least); built for mid-term cellaring, if you wish. HOLD. Easily recommended

Medium+ straw, bright and clear. Intensely mineral nose, white pepper, spiced candies, melange of orchard fruits. Broad palate supported by fresh, though not cutting, acidity. Shows good structure to the medium-bodied frame, vg length. As usual, love it. Will climb to the next level in 5-6 years. 2018-2032. recommended+

Consumed on Dec.; no notes kept. Dense with fruit, acidity; a waxy taste that i really liked. Remained lively over a couple of nights.

Again well balanced expressiveness of fruit and acidity in a slightly richer, broader style. Spicy on the palate with good length. 91-92+
