Can enjoy a bit more cellar time to soften the tannins. Nice fruit forward flavor. Nice finish. Fairly smooth all around which will be better in a few years.

Dark but clear ruby red in appearance with a fruity nose integrated with sophisticated oak treatments. The palate is quite flavorful, powerful, smooth and balanced, a tad savory and on the lighter side of full-bodied with an air of refinement. The palate is dominated by sweet juicy yet spicy fruits, with a nicely integrated vanilla wood, saddle leather, tobacco box and a very nice and elegant mouthfeel and a very satisfying polished finish. An overall classy, delicious and good value Napa Cab. A very good showing tonight and drinking very nicely. A wonderful wine that truly punches well above its weight class and a very beautiful accompaniment to a memorable Cantonese meal at grandma’s 90th birthday dinner party.

Quite soft and dusty in the Rutherford AVA style, as defined by Charles Krug, Caymus and Raymond. Super value at the $15 I paid. Quite drinkable now, which makes it an excellent restaurant Cab. Not for long-term cellaring.

PNP. Black cherry daiquiri and light maple syrup on the nose. Smooth palate and very soft tannins on the short finish. My rating is "high" because this is very drinkable at a very nice price point. Great QPR. It's equivalent to things like Justin's entry level Cab and Educated Guess at a lower price.

Overall I found this disappointing. Compared to most CA cabs, it seemed notably acidic. I didn't find the woody tones I like in bettter cabs. After vacuvin and one day, it was much better (probably 85 day one, 87 day too); the acid was calmed down and there was more there.
Overall, I recommend waiting to drink until 2018, and if now an hour or preferably 2 of decanting.

Cabernet Sauvignon. California. Napa Valley (Rutherford Ranch). Black Red color. Soft, predominant oak nose with a hint of honey aroma. Med-Full body berry syrup with a touch of citrus and a pleasant, delicate oak that follows. A light tannin with a noticeable, delightful leather, medium finish. A surprisingly delicate wine for Cabernet. This is one I would bring over to wine snob friends -- for $32 dollars.

Ok. Nothing special. Tasted against a 2013 Charles Krug CS that was much more to my liking and in a similar price range.
