Really solid Pinot that is at an optimal stage. Still bright and energetic, no signs of aging. I like this here, but I see no problem with this aging another 3-4 years. Strawberries dominate, but hints of violet, baking spices and vanilla bean.

Very intense deep purple. Sweet berry nose. Plenty of upfront fruit, satisfying but ample tannin. I don’t know why I pay ANY attention to the CT drinking ranges. They are so off and inconsistent. This was my only bottle. CT end 2022, this has 10 more years, minimum.

I think this wine is fading. Very simple, no cherry notes, nothing to get excited about. I stored the wine in an offsite professional wine storage location the entire time.

I've finally found a bottle of Kosta Browne Pinot Noir that doesn't completely suck! But at over $100 per bottle, someone is laughing all the way to the bank!!
This was so simple & basic in every way: fruity, moderate oak, mild tannin, etc., etc. Ridiculously high pricing = very poor Quality to Price ratio. Don't ever buy this stuff!!!

PNP, opened up after an hour. Cherry, red fruit, cranberry. Some earthy forest floor. A little baking spice. Luscious and velvety CA Pinot with nice complexity. Medium body, medium acidity. Long cranberry finish.

This is drinking nicely right now. Beautiful to look at and to taste. Very nice red fruits in balance with a hint of spicy wood. It seems to demand the drinkers attention. Excellent clarity of presentation. Nice aftertaste also.

Lovely pinot. An earthier style with mushrooms mixed with medium dark fruit. Reminiscent of Gevrey Chambertin Great flavor intensity without being heavy.

This is one where a random match with food just made the wine explode into something magical. We served this with grilled tuna - tasted by itself this was a delightful California Pinot, comparatively light on its feet, with a nose full of ripe raspberry and strawberry, some light mint, good salinity and vanilla and cinnamon. Matched with the marinated tuna the wine went into a stunning overdrive with honey and pine resin on the nose, and grilled rosemary branches, charcoal/tar, and brown sugar. Who knows how good this could be in a couple of years more. Score : 94. Relative to expectations: ++

Luscious bottle of KB with red and dark fruit flavors. Blackberry and strawberry with some floral aromas as well. Nuanced and bright flavors, complex without being brooding at all. Extremely nice mouthfeel with a velvety, palate-coating appeal. This had a bit more diversity of flavors that was enticing.

Color of dark red. Scents of raspberry, strawberry and other red fruit, and some floral boquet. Tastes were consistent with scents, and this wine was more nuanced than the typical KB general appellation Pinot Noirs ( and even some of the other vineyards specific ones too ).

Good nose and fairly interesting in the pallette. Great kosta balance and a decent finish. Feels a bit lean overall though and maybe tired. Drink now.

Definitely fading but still drinkable. Notes of cherry, plum, light spices, vanilla, and oak. Tannins low, acid medium, alcohol high.

I like Kosta Brown and I think this is the best bottle I've had. Way more than a Cali Pinot bowl of cherries.
