Another delicious bottle of this wine. Bright with acidity yet texturally somewhat dense like a good Riesling. Flavors and aromas include lemon/citrus, pineapple, guava, minerals and a touch of almond. Slightly saline on the long finish. Just a wonderful example of one of the more under-appreciated native Italian white grapes. Age-worthy. Excellent QPR.

Didn't note color. On nose, sea shells, salt water, lemon rind and floral notes - gorgeous. On palate, medium+ body, medium acidity and medium finish. Lemon / saline flavor profile on palate. I loved this but the finish was a little clipped. Will buy some more. 91++

Restaurant (Lo Stella, recommended) list purchase. Light>Medium straw color, clear. Classic aromas of minerals, white fruits, deeper soil tones, some hay and citrus. The palate is light>medium-bodied, with an avg+ mouthfeel that properly accents the well-delineated fruits. This is a well-proportioned Fiano, and, as usual, out-performs its modest price. I was here just a few months ago - they produce A LOT of bottles, but this never comes across as commercial, it's correct, and satisfying - and a great partner to food. Thru 2021. Easily recommended
PnP, served non-blind; don't hesitate to aerate in decanter for an hour, it helps.
At the winery: Floral, peach, nectarine, lemon, juicy; soft entry , good depth, juicy fruit on the palate; ever so slight tannins, tangy finish. Touch more round/fruity than Greco.

Still very (too) young with mainly green apple, stone fruit, flint and some additional reductive notes. Also flowers. On the palate a touch bitter, almost steely, the fruit still very much covered. Fresh and again flinty. In the finish it opens up a bit and shows what's to come in a year or so : nice citrus fruits combined with apricot and mandarin. Needs definitely more time but then surely a pleasure to drink. 89-90+

French and Italian Comparative Tasting Dinner (Middletown Township, NJ, USA): This shows real depth and complexity, nice minerality and bright acidity. The fruit is a melange of stone, orchard and citrus. Really delicious and a great food wine. It has a nice dense almost chewy texture which I love.

Richer and riper than the ‘16 Colli di Lapio. Still quite nice but not as nuanced. Fine with prawns.

A peachy flavour, oily texture, fairly long.
