Didn't get much of this since the bottle went fast. Didn't get as much of the earth on the palate as last time, but was a fruity, spicy joy. Too bad this was my last bottle.

Brown pink color. Really opened up after 4 hours. Ccinnamon, brush, lime, nutty savory, with a deep fizzy cinnamon finish. Delicious and elegant right now.

A long intense pinot. Nice nose, with rolling honey, oats, allspice, and cinnamon together. Best after 5 hours of decanting on day 1. Fell apart a bit overnight in the fridge.

8 months really makes a difference. The wine still leads with ripe, juicy fruit but the secondary characteristics of earth and mushrooms have really started to develop. Excellent Cali Pinot.

Great nose of red fruit, mushrooms and sweet oak. The palate resembles the nose but adds a hint of spice on the finish. This is very well balanced and juicy, not overpowering like some Cali PNs can be. This will be even better once some of the secondary characteristics start to become more apparent.

This is in a good place. Rich black cherry, violets, clove and well integrated vanilla with a silky midpalate and persistent finish.

Similar notes as last time except the fruit seemed to stand out even more this time. I wonder if the earthy characteristics will ever peak through.
