Dark color-light spice on the nose. Thin, palate falls away quickly. Not any discernable flavors other than a basic red wine taste with a hint of berry flavor on the end. Nothing special, not flawed.

Crimson to garnet, medium body, medium legs. Aromas of tart berries, hint of spice, hint of graphite. Flavors of tart berries, medium finish, medium acid. At $11, QPR below average. Purchased last year at the recommendation of a friend. At that time, a positive review from a local wine writer appeared and caused scarcity of the wine. So, with some hesitation, I purchased a single bottle although I rarely buy TJ brands at the $8+ price range. That said, it was an interesting buy but I would value the wine at $7 - $8. Drink now or in 2018. 2014 vintage is also labeled "Lot 130".

Aromas of boisonberry and mulberry, sage, and some floral notes. Palate is acceptable but feels a little thin, which is mirrored by its color--dark purple, yet surprisingly transparent. Also has a tiny bit of a "cheap red wine" flavor. Given the price, I can't complain but it's not worth seeking out.
